Nestled amongst the towering pines our small, quiet resort is located on the shores of Fishtrap Lake just north of Boulder Junction, WI. With direct access to High Lake and the Manitowish River there is plenty of great fishing spots for Musky, Walleye, Bass and panfish. Our resort offers the perfect getaway for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts. . Updated cabins feature all the modern amenities, including fully-equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, and stunning views of the lake. Whether you want to fish, swim, hike, or simply relax, we have something for everyone!

Getting around

Do NOT follow Google Maps to get to the resort, it will send you down the wrong road.From Boulder Junction:Go NORTH on Cutoff Rd heading out of town.Turn RIGHT HIgh-Fishtrap Lake Road - Follow road taking LEFT turn at Dam Rd,then a quick RIGHT onto Fishtrap Lake Rd. Road will take a LEFT at Stiloskiln Rd, then LEFT by Cliffs Trail.Resort will be on the LEFT side, we have separate driveways for Cabin #4, #6 and cabins #1,2 & 3.
There are WHITE directional Arrow signs at every turn. You can also follow the directional arrows for Wittig's Resort, which is just down the road from Fishtrap Resort.

These directions are for planning purposes only. You may find that construction projects, traffic, weather, or other events may cause conditions to differ from the map results, and you should plan your route accordingly. You must obey all signs or notices regarding your route.

Policies and Rules

Check In: 3PM - Flexible

Guests will receive a PIN code via text message after full payment is received. Guests will be able to access cabin after 3pm on first day of rental until last day of rental using their own personal PIN number. Instructions are posted on the doors how to input PINS and lock doors. Resort manager is available by phone for any questions.

House Rules

No waterskiing allowed in the bay.
No jet skis allowed on the resort.
No individual fireplaces/solo stoves allowed at cabins.

Cancellation Policy

A $25 administrative fee for any date or cabin changes to your reservation.
No refunds or price adjustments for early departure.
Deposit will gladly be refunded ONLY if we can re-rent the cabin for the same date of your cancelled reservation, less a $25 administrative fee…. please give as much notice as possible.
Cancellations withing 7 days of rental time will not be refunded.

Check In Time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm. NO early arrivals! We need this time to prepare the cabins and the grounds. Thank you for your patience!
