Enter the cozy lower level where you are met with laminate wood floors and big open windows that provide the perfect balance of natural lighting and views of the quiet forested neighborhood outside. You will love snuggling up together on the comfy couches as you warm your toes together in front of the huge stone fireplace and pop on your favorite movie on the mounted flat screen Streaming TV with complimentary hi speed WIFI internet provided for your enjoyment. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.)

The flowing open floor plan provides quick and easy access to your equipped chef's kitchen and formal dining area as well as access to the massive backyard. Head upstairs to enjoy two spacious sleeping quarters that share the other full bathroom, each of your rooms are made up for your group's arrival with warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh shower towels for your vacation stay. Enjoy the private door access from one of the rooms which leads to the cute balcony deck and offers views of the wildlife and forested neighborhood.

A separate laundry room offers a washer and dryer for those wet snow clothes and extended visits to the mountains while a convenient hallway guest bathroom is also accessible on the entry level.

𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 & 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧
A confirmation to your acknowledgement of the rules via an e-signed guest agreement, a copy of a government-issued photo ID and a security deposit pre-authorization are required within 24 hours or when booking a last minute same day reservation the above is required within 1 hour.

𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪/𝗗𝗢𝗚𝗦
House-trained and friendly dogs 1 yr+ are welcomed. Up to 2 dogs allowed, additional dogs may be allowed w/ an added pet fee.

Guests will have access to the entire vacation home with the exception of a few locked owner's closet and a locked storage shed in the backyard.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚
Please plan accordingly, two cars are permitted to be parked in the driveway; there is no street parking or additional parking nearby.

𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗦
Please note...there are cameras located at the driveway and entrances of the property. These are solely on the exterior of the property. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy and other property policies. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in the immediate removal of guest(s) and forfeiture of all amounts paid.

𝗦𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗟
Snow removal services are supposed to arrive within 24 hours of any snowfall more than 4+ inches, to clear the driveway and a pathway to the main entrance. Snow removal companies cannot guarantee a specific time the property will be serviced. Therefore, guests may have to shovel a spot to park if they arrive before the snow removal company or if it snows during their stay. There have been times in larger storms (2ft+ of snowfall) when snow removal can take longer. It doesn’t happen often, and our other guests have always been able to make it work. Just know that in those cases we are doing everything we can to get someone out there.

𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥
Please be aware that weather conditions can change rapidly especially during winter months. We are unable to honor last-minute cancellations due to weather/road conditions. Chains or 4WD/AWD vehicle requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. Guests booking a stay in the winter should be prepared for the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. We recommend arriving before dark; guests arriving late during the winter months may encounter icy roads and long delays. 𝗕𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝟭 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Sugarloaf is a uniquely charming neighborhood in Big Bear nestled against the National Forest making it easy for hiking. Sugarloaf has it's own Community Market (Easy's General Store) for the  essentials, a restaurant (Kallans Bar & Grill), even a laundromat and post office. Sugarloaf park is a great place to enjoy some recreational time whether it is at the basketball or tennis courts, playground, skate park, fitness equipment, or the baseball field.

Bear Valley offers many effortless transportation options for guests and residents connecting all of their mountain communities! Local transportation options include: Uber and Lyft, Big Bear Taxi and Mountain Transit.

Mountain Transit operates Weekend Trolley service providing transportation between local restaurants, hotels, ski resorts, and shopping venues throughout the City of Big Bear Lake.

Mountain Transit provides Fixed Route, Off-the-Mountain (OTM), and Dial-a-Ride service throughout the rural San Bernardino Mountain communities of Big Bear Valley, Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs and Route 5 OTM even connects our mountain communities to the Inland Empire.

If you are looking to go up the mountain or down the mountain catch Route 5 Off the Mountain (OTM). Route 5 OTM connects Big Bear to Running Springs and San Bernardino making connections with Omnitrans, Metrolink, Greyhound, and other various stops.

The home does not have central air-conditioning, but rather during the warmer summer months the cabin’s bedrooms include window AC units. Central AC is not typical for mountain cabins. Powerful oscillating circulator fans are also provided in all rooms.
