Get away from it all at this gorgeous creek side log cabin nestled in a mountain valley surrounded by beautiful forest! You can go hiking, explore the peaceful rushing creek, cuddle by the wood burning stove, and make S'mores in the firepit! This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with fishing, tubing, golf, horseback riding, and the many activities at Lake Chatuge! It's the perfect secluded get away for up to 8 people! Compass Creek Cabin overlooks rushing Compass Creek near Hayesville, NC 28904. It's off the beaten path and SO peaceful! The sounds of the creek can be heard from any window in the house! It's nestled in a valley in the mountains surrounded by acres of beautiful forest, and 15 mins from pristine Lake Chatuge. It's a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath log cabin that sleeps 8 in 1 King, 2 Queens, and 2 Twins with new Cool Gel Memory Foam mattresses. It has a firepit, hammock for 2, corn hole, disc golf basket, wrap around porch, porch swing, rocking chairs, grill, and wood burning stove for inside fires. The master suite has a King bed, its own porch access and a claw foot tub and river rock shower in the enormous master bath. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are all huge too and share the upstairs bathroom with shower / tub combo. Each has a Queen bed and Twin bed. The kitchen is large and fully equipped to cook all your meals, and there's a grill on the back porch. The log dining table seats 8 comfortably. The living room and dining room are both stocked with board games and both are great places for family games!

And you're just 5 miles to a beautiful championship golf course, 8 miles to Horseback Riding, and 8 miles to pristine Lake Chatuge which is wonderul for swimming, fishing, boating, etc.! My husband and I own Compass Creek Cabin and we go there with our son (and sometimes other family or friends) every chance we get (or whenever it isn't rented!) It's our home-away-from-home and where we hope to retire, so we have poured a lot of energy and love into it and we keep making improvements every time we go!
