About this place
Casa San Diego 2Bdr in North Park by Gaslamp/Zoo
“Casa San Diego” is our fun and colorful 2 bedroom and 1-bath apartment including a balcony with amazing views, a fireplace and backyard with BBQ in historic and trendy North Park that sleeps up to 8.
Just 3 miles from downtown and around the corner from public transport, taking you to all of San Diego “must-sees” like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, as well as the sun-drenched beaches that make us famous.
Casa San Diego was designed to be lively, colorful, and inviting, with its own California flavor. Lots of primary colors and fun patterns in the bedrooms and living area, plus rich hardwood floors and mid-century-inspired design.
Bedrooms include 2 with queen-size beds and one in addition with a twin-over-twin. A fold-out sofa sleeps 2 more for up to 8 guests total - perfect for multi-family trips and couples getaways. You can pack light: there’s a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement.
Take your morning coffee to the balcony, which has a view of North Park. Gather for a BBQ in the backyard (shared with the other two units) with a BBQ grill, outdoor seating, yard games...even a hammock. Or cook inside: the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked as completely as my own kitchen at home.
Other goodies at the apartment: Free WiFi throughout, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.
Stay in or head out; eat, drink and play in North Park or downtown in the Gaslamp; relax on the balcony, in front of the fireplace or enjoy the sweeping views. And most importantly - have fun! (And let me know how I can help.)
My neighborhood, North Park, is one of San Diego’s most historic and funky places to be. It's home to artists, local businesses, a Farmers Market, craft beer, wine bars, sushi spots, handmade ice cream, and your pick of brunch options. Guests love North Park’s neighborhood vibe, even though it’s just 3 miles from downtown and The Gaslamp. Century-old architecture and the ringing of church bells during the day in North Park add to its historic feel. And my house fits right in!
No need to worry about a car. You have your pick of coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques just a few blocks away. Easy public transport is just around the corner, taking you to downtown and all places San Diego. Uber rides are quick and convenient, too, getting you into downtown in less than 5 minutes.
You will have this entire apartment and its balcony to yourself. The backyard is shared with the other two units in the building.
NOTE: North Park is a residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for parties. Small gatherings are fine; just be sure to let me know in advance if you plan to invite guests who are not included in your reservation. Security cameras - and our friends/neighbors - will alert us to unauthorized visitors.
I'm just a e-mail, text message, or call away! I can guide you through the check-in process, as well as answer any questions you have while you’re here. San Diego is my favorite city in the world, and I live for helping guests discover why I love it so much.

Meet the Host
Originally from Germany I moved to San Diego 12 years ago after falling in love with the city during a visit and have been very happy to call this wonderful city home for the last 12 years!
I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to 60+ countries and work in 10 of them and love exploring new places and make friends from all over the world along the way. Yet San Diego is still my all time favorite place to come home to :-)
I'm passionate about actually seeing REAL life and REAL people in each of the countries I visit and not just staying in a generic hotel. So as a AirBnB host and traveler myself, I am always trying to give my guests a great experience here in San Diego and the chance to explore and really get to know my favorite place in the world!
Welcome home to your adventure in San Diego!!!!
