Part of the garden is dedicated to growing vegetables, offering fresh, truly organic vegetables for daily consumption. The house is located in a beautiful residential area, surrounded by large parks, in Noventa di Piave, a quiet town in the metropolitan area of Venice, situated on the left bank of the river Piave, the sacred river of the Italians, so loved by Ernest Hemingway who was wounded here during the First World War. Here the Piave shows itself in all its beauty; along its banks kilometres of paths to be followed on foot or by bicycle, reaching as far as the sea; the now renovated Ponte di Barche bridge connects the two banks of the river. Noventa has a long history dating back to the Roman Empire, witnessed by the archaeological site of San Mauro. The house is 1 km from the exit of the A14 Milan-Trieste motorway, 5 minutes' walk from the city centre and 10 minutes' walk from the fantastic Outlet with its 200 shops selling the most famous brands and fashion houses. The house is only 35 km from Venice and 20 km from the most beautiful beaches of the northern Adriatic Sea: Jesolo, Caorle, Eraclea and Bibione. Not only the sea, even the most beautiful mountains are within easy reach: in two hours you can reach Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Queen of the Dolomites, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco Countryside, sea, mountains....are not enough, you cannot forget the cities of art: Treviso, Padua, Vicenza, Verona..........
