A Rustic Hideout - Ellijay

A: The Primary Guest must be at least 25 years of age to rent and be present during the entire stay.
B: A rental agreement signed by Primary Guest and a valid photo ID is required. If those items are not received within 48 hours from booking (or 24 hrs if the beginning of the stay is less than 48 hours away), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and issue a refund.
C: No third-party rentals. For example, a parent cannot rent our property for their child(ren) who is under minimum age; Property cannot be rented for someone else if the requestor will not be staying at the property OR will not be staying at the property throughout the entire duration of the rental period. The guest signing the Rental Agreement must be the same one who provides a valid photo ID.
D: Minors under 18 can only stay with a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult present at the property, and must never be left at the property unsupervised.
E: Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Please smoke outdoors to avoid any damage to the interior or potential harm to non-smokers. Remember to dispose off cigarette butts properly and not on the ground or in planters as they can be a fire hazard. Thank you for your cooperation and respect for the health and safety of those around you.Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains WILL be applied.
F: Pets; We do not allow pets in our rental units without prior approval. If you plan to bring a dog, you must submit an inquiry to request approval. We reserve the right to refuse any pets on the premises without prior approval. Please note that all approved pets must be house-trained and up-to-date on their vaccinations.Thank you for understanding.
G: No Extra Occupant; The number of guests in the Rental Agreement must include ALL adults and ALL children - no matter how young. No extra occupants are allowed without prior approval. If you would like to request to have an extra occupant, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We enforce occupancy rules to ensure fire code observance and prevent overload of the cabin's mechanical and septic systems. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with this policy.
H: No Parties or Events; Our vacation rental is intended for peaceful respite and enjoyment of the surrounding area. As such, we do not permit any parties or events on the premises. We ask that all guests respect this policy by refraining from any such activities. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges, and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
I: Fireplace Use and Safety; Do not attempt to put the pilot light out. Remember that metal fireplace surfaces do get HOT when fireplace is in use. ALWAYS supervise children around the fireplace. The Fireplace should be operated by a capable adult over age of 23 only. Absolutely NO foreign objects, food, liquids or fuel of any kind in the fireplaces! No tampering with valves, timer switches, lines, equipment or outdoor propane tank. Running HVAC in "cool" mode when the fireplace is in operation may result in HVAC system failure. Any issue determined to be caused by improper use or tampering will result in forfeiture of Rental deposit and any costs above the Rental deposit amount charged to the Guest. If you have any fireplace related questions or concerns, please contact the Owners and we will address it promptly.
J: If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY with no refund.
K: Hot-Tub:
 1: No children without adult supervision.
 2: Do not use if intoxicated.
 3: Be aware of the maximum occupancy.
 4: Do not set temperature above 104 degrees. A good temperature for the first time user on a cold day is 100 degrees. Increase the temperature as needed. Always turn it down to to 95 after leaving, if planning to return. Or turn it down to 80 if you are finished for the day or night.
 5: No foreign objects, toys, jewelry, food or bath products.
 6: No glass ever.
 7: Be careful with the cover. Unlatch and lift off cover carefully to avoid damage to the cover. Never sit or stand on the cover or sides of the tub.
Violations of rental policies, occupancy, pet and house rules, or Rental Agreement conditions will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund of any kind and forfeiture of Rental deposit.
