Flamingo on Frio is located in the Sea Isle community on Galveston Island’s west end, a laid-back coastal neighborhood known for boating, fishing, and beautiful bay sunsets. Homes here sit along canals that connect directly to West Galveston Bay, making it a favorite spot for anglers, kayakers, and anyone who enjoys being on the water.

Sea Isle offers a relaxed island atmosphere while still providing convenient amenities. Guests have access to the Sea Isle fishing pier, marina, restaurant, and seasonal community pool. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, with scenic canals, coastal breezes, and plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife like herons and dolphins.

The beaches of Galveston’s west end are just a short drive away, offering wide stretches of sand that are typically less crowded than the Seawall beaches. Grocery stores, restaurants, and attractions are also within a reasonable drive, making Sea Isle a perfect balance of peaceful coastal living and easy access to the rest of the island.

Most guests find it easiest to drive when exploring Galveston Island. The home offers convenient parking, and major attractions are easily reached by car.
