Welcome to this private 2-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a two-story home in a convenient location. There is a separate small office room next to the rear bedroom — great work from home spot. There is a direct bus to New York City two blocks away. ALDI supermarket is only a few blocks away. Laundromat within waking distance. You can park for free in the driveway (limit of one car). No parties, events, or smoking of any kind -- this is strictly enforced.

Self check-in and check-out are available. We have a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival.
The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. We will not be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm). You can do a self-service check in after 11 pm, but if any issues arise we will not be able to respond or give any refunds.
Please also note that this apartment is located in an older house. Some recent guests have arrived with higher expectations than what we can provide given the age of the house and layout of the apartment. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place close to New York City and Newark Airport EWR, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you.
A few things to know before you book:
To keep our homes safe and welcoming for everyone, all guests complete a quick verification before arrival — we’ll reach out by email or text with the simple steps once you’ve booked, so please complete it before you travel.
Guests are also asked to either purchase a damage waiver or leave a refundable security deposit, and to sign a short rental agreement. A valid credit or debit card is required; if you’re paying us directly by card, we’ll ask for a photo of the front and back and a signed credit card authorization form, and the name on the reservation, card, and ID should match. Please also have a valid, current government-issued ID ready — if it’s expired we won’t be able to approve the stay, and no refund applies in that case. Additional charges may apply.
