The Problem We're Solving
Every time a guest books a vacation rental through Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com, they pay 12–20% in service fees on top of the rental price. The host loses a share of their income to commissions. The platform pockets the difference — for simply being in the middle.
We think that's wrong. And we built Houfy to fix it.
Our Purpose
Houfy exists to connect hosts and guests directly — without a fee-collecting middleman sitting between them.
Guests pay what the host actually charges. Hosts keep 100% of what they earn. Both sides get a better deal, and the relationship stays personal.
That's not a feature. It's the entire point.
Why the Vacation Rental Industry Needed This
The vacation rental market has been dominated for years by a handful of large OTAs that aggregate supply and charge whatever they can get away with. Hosts become dependent on platforms that own the guest relationship, set the rules, and take a cut of every booking.
