How Do I Sign Out of My Houfy Account?
Signing out of your Houfy account logs you out on the current device. This is especially useful when you’re using a shared or public computer.
What Is Sign Out?
When you sign out, Houfy ends your current session. You’ll need to enter your email and password (or use social login) the next time you want to access your account.
Signing out does not delete your account or remove any of your listings, reservations, or messages. Everything will be right where you left it when you sign back in.
Quick Steps
For experienced users, here’s the short version:
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of any page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the dropdown menu.
Click Sign Out.
That’s it! You’ll be taken back to the Houfy homepage.
How to Sign Out — Step by Step
Step 1: Click Your Profile Picture
Look at the very top-right corner of the page. You’ll see a small round photo — that’s your profile picture.
Click your profile picture to open the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Scroll Down in the Menu
A dropdown menu will appear on the right side of the screen. It shows options like Platform, Manage Listings, Reservations, and more.
The Sign Out option is at the very bottom of this menu. You may need to scroll down inside the dropdown to see it.
Scroll down until you see Sign Out at the bottom.
Step 3: Click Sign Out
You'll see Sign Out at the bottom of the menu.
Click Sign Out.
You’ll be signed out immediately and taken back to the Houfy homepage.
That’s It!
You’re now signed out of your Houfy account. The next time you visit houfy.com, you’ll see a Sign In button in the top-right corner instead of your profile picture.
Want to Sign Back In?
To sign back in, click the Sign In button in the top-right corner of any Houfy page. Enter your email and password, or use your Google or Facebook account to log in.
Important Notes
Signing out only affects the current device. If you’re signed in on another phone, tablet, or computer, those sessions stay active.
Always sign out on shared computers. If you used a hotel lobby computer or a friend’s laptop, sign out when you’re done to keep your account safe.
Signing out does not delete anything. Your listings, reservations, messages, and profile are all saved. Nothing changes when you sign out.
