Barbara is a true super host from the word go. From the very first moment I enquired about her villa till our last day of our stay, she has been great in answering all the questions, giving detail instructions, providing great local tips, etc. Her villa is well located for visiting Siena and Florence, even PISA if you fancy driving a bit further North. It is also situated very close to very good attractions nearby such as San Gimignano and Monteriggioni castles. Her villa is in a village surrounded by farms and therefore very quiet. It is just a turn from the small village center where there are small shops and lovely restaurants very close by. The villa itself is wonderful. It has a very beautiful and well equipped kitchen. There is a dining table that fitted all 9 of us. The ping ping table, basket ball and volley provided entertainment for those with extra energy. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. There are two shower rooms and one of them has a huge bath. On the attic there is a attached toilet so no need to come down in the middle of the night if you need it. There is also one toilet on the ground floor. All in all, the villa is perfect home away from home to start your day and come back to after visiting the sights. Barbara went extra miles to help us book restaurants even though she was on holiday herself in Egypt. She's definitely well earned her super host title.

My husband and I were vacationing in Rome for the first time and this was a beautiful and perfect accomodation . Our gracious hosts Fabrizio and Liliana were so helpful and accommodating from the time we booked their place until we left. The apartment was very clean, and much nicer than the description on VRBO. Fresh flowers and apple/custard tarte were sitting on the table when we opened the door to our new home away from home when we arrived. The view from the livingroom of The Vatican lit up at night was breathtaking. The neighborhood was very safe and walking distace to the market, restaurants, shops, bus, subway station and of course Vatican City. Our wonderful hosts were right across the hall and always willing to answer any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Rome.I will so miss our time with Fabrizio and Liliana and consider them friends forever.

Giuseppe was amazing. We’ve visited many countries and stayed in many air bnbs but never met anyone as friendly as Giuseppe. He welcomed us at the door and carried our luggage up for us too. The place was spotless and everything was available. He had some drinks and snacks ready as we arrived very late. We asked for more towels and Guiseppe provided what we needed asap. The flat is so well located and the metro is 5 mins walk away which was so handy to get to places. Guiseppe arranged for a taxi to collect us at the airport - Gianluca collected us from the airport and also dropped us at the airport. Guiseppe provided us with so many good recommendations and was so very informative about the whole flat. We felt right at home. It is tiring to visit Rome in 5 days as it is extremely busy. As my husband would say we had a power shower at the flat after a long day. It was like 15mins to the colosseum from the flat. I found Guiseppe very fluent in English so very easy to communicate with.

***DREAM APT*** Surpassed our expectations! The apt much nicer/better than in the pictures! My wife wrote the following message as she stayed 9 days at Milco's place: "I stayed at Milco's place with my 1,7 year old baby daughter. I might say that I had quite a wonderful time there with her. Milco was very kind and helpful, waited for us downstairs at our arrival, showed my husband where to park the car and on the way back pointed out many interest points in the neighborhood. Milco also gave us tips about the city and other nice indications about restaurants and cheap supermarket to buy daily food. The apt was beautiful, very well made, with a lot of gadgets. Milco prepared everything for my baby: cutlery, plastic plates and cups, baby high chair, baby cot, a changing mat and also placed a carpet so she can sit on the floor and play. The apt was warm and silent except during late night we heard the noises of the street but it didn't prevent us to sleep so comfortably. Everything was brand new and so nice!! We constantly had hot water, although the water pressure was a bit low but it wasn't so important. I cooked every day for my baby so you can be assured that the apt has everything you need, a Lavazza espresso machine, a dishwasher, a hair dryer, a washing machine, a Hoover, nothing was missing and I was very happy about it and impressed. It was better than expected and I will definitely come back as we felt at home. Milco was always nice and kind and also offered us to check out very late as we had an incident the last day. I also met the neighbors and all were so kind and baby friendly. This is definitely a charming apartment in the best area ever, 2 min from the Geneva metro station, 3 min from the Navigli, 28 min from the Duomo, 35 from Brera (I walk fast and was pushing a stroller). So far one of my best vacation!!! Thanks Milco for making everything going that smoothly!!! Take care and see you soon :)

A true little paradise with private swimming bay! Alessandra is a 5* host! She thinks and cares for everything. The house is kept supertidy and cosy, all equipment worked fine. We - a family of four adults - spent 2 weeks in this house in Sep. 2019. Only few other guests or owners were in the whole community Baia di Arcile of appr 70 houses. We often had the bay on our own and went swimming every day several times with Etna view. No need to drive to other beaches. Bath shoes are not needed if you walk carefully into the water on the large round stones. Swimming is safe, only few boats 300m outside, clean water. Only one day with heavy rain/thunderstorm. Others sunny, 30-33C but there are always cool corners in the house or terraces. Location also great for excursions, none takes longer than 1 hour by car to reach: Catania, trekking trip on Etna with (ashara.it)(not the peak, the vulcano was too active, still impressive), Sortino and the stunning Nekropolis von Pantalica, old and new Noto, Syracus, … (Note for plane passengers: though the airport is only 30 minutes away, on our way back Wednesday noon luggage check-in and security took nearly 1 ½ hours!) The quiet location comes with a only tiny drawback: you need a car even to go to the nice nearby sleepy village Brucoli (superb Granita at Café Sud! and great bread at the bakery! Many restaurants) (there are no walks cross country possible, fences everywhere). We didn’t mind the train at all (short commuter train during the day, it’s so close, you only hear it 2-3 seconds). AirBnB as it should be! (private holiday house that, when not used by the owners, offers tourists a beautiful spot to discover the country) I only wished we had more time to talk with Alessandra - maybe some other vacation … :-)

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Milina's House. The house has everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking and we often ate our breakfast on the table and comfortable chairs that are provided. The house is close to 3 mini markets - 1 slightly up the hill and 2 down the hill, and we found the staff in them all to be very helpful. Cala Gonone is a lovely little town with plenty of restaurants, many of which we enjoyed during our stay. Our absolute favourite was Duepi - which is down a little backstreet just up from the port. We had to book a table but it was well worth it! As well as tourists there were lots of locals eating there and the atmosphere in the outside garden is very warm and inviting. We also enjoyed eating at the Terrace Restaurant at the Blu Marina Hotel, the view across the bay was spectacular and the food was great too. All in all, most of the restaurants we ate in were good with many offering great views out to sea. Taking Milina's advice we booked a trip with Green and Blue Best Trips - Marina's contact Paulo owns the company - to visit the various beaches and caves along the coast between Cala Gonone and Cala Goloritze. It was an absolutely fantastic day and our skipper / host Chenso looked after us so well - I would thoroughly recommend booking this trip. We also visited Bidderosa, slightly north of Cala Gonone (again recommended by Milina) and the beaches were beautiful. If you are visiting Cala Gonone, I would thoroughly recommend Milina's apartment! She is a fantastic host and looks after her guests incredibly well.

Paolo’s Villa degli Ulivi is a special spot, and Paolo is a warm, friendly, outstanding host. Arriving by car might be tricky without Paolo’s clear instructions - but once done the first time, it’s simple. Check in was super with all the necessary explanations and recommendations, and Paolo followed up throughout the stay - including a bottle of delicious local wine and fresh focaccia for breakfast on our final day!! The villa is truly splendid - very spacious, furnished like you might imagine a beautiful old Italian villa to be set up. So much character. Easily sleeps 4 couples. The views are magnificent, and the outdoor garden and terrace are wonderful spots to enjoy the evening sunsets. We cooked in a couple of times, and the kitchen is very well equipped - with crockery, utensils and cooking basics (oil, vinegars, etc…) Camogli is a 5 min drive and is fabulous town - amazing spot. Lots of other things to do too - walk to San Fruttuoso, etc… we will return for sure. Loved our stay!

Nous avons passé des vacances formidables ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par notre hôte, qui a été extrêmement disponible et attentif tout au long de notre séjour. Ce logement est très fonctionnel, pratique et confortable. Aménagé avec beaucoup de soin et dans les moindres détails, il nous a permis de nous sentir comme chez nous. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la climatisation, la literie irréprochable et l’équipement de la cuisine qui ont grandement contribué à notre confort. L’emplacement est juste parfait : la plage et les principaux établissements balnéaires sont à moins de cinq minutes à pied. Le quartier est calme tout en étant proche des commerces et des restaurants, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Encore un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et toutes leurs attentions qui nous on fait passer des vacances inoubliables. Nous espérons vraiment avoir l'occasion de revenir très bientôt !
