Chris was a host that was above the bar on every front. As experienced vacation rental tenants our family is accustomed to a range of good and bad service. Chris was so accommodating to our needs, is a clear and patient communicator and always had answers to our questions. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay, and as foreigners we felt very welcomed in this country by how Chris conducted himself in this transaction. I would highly recommend considering one of his properties if you are looking for a balance of great service and experience with comfort and amenities!

We recently spent a weekend at Best Sun Peaks Vacations' condo at Sun Peaks and we were thoroughly impressed. My girlfriend and I brought my teenage son and two of his friends for a 3 night getaway and we could not have been happier with our choice of this unit. Everything was exactly as described and the unit was spotless. Right from the beginning of the booking process, the owner's Paul and Nancy were very prompt with their correspondence and the process was straight forward and simple. The unit has all the amenities required and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked. We were informed before check-in that the coffee maker wasn't working properly but Paul had a new one delivered right to our door. That is the type of service we experienced from these owners and I would expect any future guests would receive the same. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our party as I wanted the three boys to each have their own beds so they could refresh for the next day of skiing. The boys enjoyed relaxing after supper by playing video games and usually finished off the night with a long soak in the private hot tub. On the map, the condo seems to be a long way from the village center but in reality, it's within a comfortable walking distance. Another option is the village bus which stops right up the road. Being from Kelowna, I found the village at Sun Peaks to be a bit more quaint and not as commercial as Big White. In all aspects, our weekend was great. The hill, the weather and of course the condo were spectacular. We couldn't have asked for more and would happily recommend Sun Peaks and Best Sun Peaks Vacations to anyone. Thanks Paul and Nancy.

First off I want to thank Becky and Shawn for being such great hosts, they are very friendly and responsive. The lighthouse was such an amazing experience, the views are breathtaking each level you go up to just gets better. The ability to be less than minutes away from walking the beach, or checking out different spots suggested by the locals and the hand guide, set the experience over the top. Cannot wait to stay in this place again.

The Wayward inn was the perfect place to get away from our usual routine. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Before we checked in they asked if we had any dietary restrictions and we mentioned that one of us was allergic to gluten. When we got there they stocked the kitchen with local coffee, treats, and gluten free pasta for us to use. Also, the access to the vegetable garden and fruit tress was amazing and special treat. Between that and a fully functional kitchen we were able to cook several meals in the space that helped save some money and was perfect to limit time at restaurants during covid. The location of this was perfect to do trips around the island. We were there for 5 days and saw Chemainus, Salt Spring Island (a 15 min drive and ~$30 25 min ferry with a vehicle away), Tofino, Ucluelet, Victoria, and Nanaimo. We also got to enjoy the beach that is a literal 3 min walk from the house. The hosts checked in with us mid stay to see if we needed anything and gave some great recommendations to restaurants. Overall our trip was amazing and we will definitely be back in the future. Whether you are feelings adventurous and wanting to explore or want a peaceful place to chill away from the city this place is for you! PS. Bring some special bath products because that tub is AMAZING! Thanks again for an awesome stay!

My husband and I spent 3 nights here in early August. Hearing the sound of the waves is wonderful. Very nice and updated accommodations. Would be great if one of the two beds had a firmer mattress. My husband was not able to sleep in the bed and had to sleep on the couch. We also were not able to get the jets in the spa to turn on no matter what we tried. Other than that, the home and location was very nice, and we would recommend this to friends.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Annette responded very quickly to all my questions prior to booking. Once I booked, she provided the details right away, and was so friendly! Check-in was smooth and she was very accomodating. The unit itself was clean, stocked with everything you may need, and there were some thoughtful touches, such as a treat basket. I loved that the condo felt like a home, not some professionally staged unit that gives you that empty feeling. The area itself was very convenient, with Shoppers only two blocks away. It's also close to lots of shopping and restaurants on 17th Avenue. I love to walk so that was great. The building was quiet, though I did have a run-in with a rude group of young people outside the front entrance, who were angry that I wouldn't open the door and let them in. They didn't have a key. The building residents are strict when it comes to letting strangers inside, due to security. Anyways, other than that, everyone in the building seemed polite and professionally oriented. I loved how detailed all the instructions were in the handbook they left for me. I had no problem doing my laundry in the buildings laundry room, or finding the garbage chute.Oh, and the shower is awesome! It gets really steamy in there, like a steam shower. I have joint issues, so it made me feel a lot better each morning. Thank you for the excellent stay!

Don't be put off by the lack of curb appeal, the apartment attached to the main home is situated at the back and has a spectacular view of the valley. The sunrise was stunning. The unit was spotlessly clean. It looked newly constructed and had a cute cottage vibe. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was suitably equipped, the bathroom had a full laundry attached. Tons of hot water, and filtered drinking water at the sink. The host was very accommodating to a change in date and check in was super easy. It was also very quiet and cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much.
