Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. The property is beautiful, spotless, and well maintained, with breathtaking views, a stunning pool and sauna, and everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A special thank you to Juan, our host, and Pedro, the property keeper, for their outstanding hospitality. Both were incredibly accommodating, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Pedro went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of, and his kindness and professionalism truly enhanced our experience. Most importantly, we felt safe, welcomed, and completely at home throughout our stay. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had, and we would gladly return again and again. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. Every detail reflected genuine care and attention to the guest experience. Visited Colombia for the first time for 6 days and absolutely loved it. I feel that I really lucked out with Barry and his apartment. The location is prime, literally like staying in the center of the Times Square of Medellin. Five minute walk to everything. The apartment was renovated beautifully, it was surprisingly quiet, didn’t hear any noise from the street or have any issues falling asleep, the AC was freezing, the hot water was scorching and the WiFi was as fast as what I’m used to here in the states (rare out in colombia). I definitely felt safe at the location and the apartment. However the best part was the view. This is a corner room facing a busy street, all of the city and mountains, you really can’t ask for more. But in the interest of “more” Barry has gone above and beyond to help and accommodate me during this trip. Every time I had an issue or request he was right there to assist. Truly one of the nicest people I ever met... if you are planning a trip to Medellin I would highly recommend Barry’s apartment, I know I will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you Barry!

One of Barrio Manila’s hidden apartment gems. I’ve rented from Barry on numerous occasions and seen his respected portfolio of apartment rentals, this one is special. It is located in the trendy Barrio Manila area next to many boutique restaurants and shops, less than 10 minutes walking. Parque Lleras & Poblado are within the same distance. The apartment is fully equipped with modern furnishings and appliances. Water temperature and internet are perfect. Fully functional place, with a comfy bed, jacuzzi, smart TVs, and secure surroundings. Barry as a host is friendly and professional, similar to staying with family as he does his absolute best to guarantee your complete satisfaction. Will rent again, truly worth the stay and experience. Stylish apartment with awesome value, unmatched in the area!

My friends and I stayed in this beautiful apartment over the weekend. Wow! The apartment is very comfortable for a large group and located in a tranquil neighborhood, but more importantly the personal care is outstanding. Prior to our arrival I sent Barry an email; he responded immediately to my question. When we arrived I received another email checking to see if all was well and if we needed anything. Barry goes above and beyond to care for his guests.

This was our first time to Columbia. Barry, the manager was very responsive to all our emails and texts before and during the rental. We had 6 couples and it was very comfortable with access to both roof tops. The roof top has great views from either deck and it was nice to be able to move to either one get out of the sun in the morning or at sunset. One of the things that sold us on this condo was the video of all the rooms and bathrooms. Everyone liked having their own. This condo is in a great location for walking to everything around this area. There is a big grocery store just across the street that has all the alcohol and food you should need. Every Sunday the street closes for runners and bikers in the morning till around noon. Fun to rent bikes and ride the street. Bedrooms with windows where very noisy at night and sounded like the windows where wide open but they were not. I would highly recommend earplugs and that should solve the problem. Also there are about 3 flights of stairs to get to Bedroom level then one more flight to kitchen and rooftop. Door locks are a bit tricky to open if you are just handed a key and try to get in. Make sure everyone gets checked out on locks before you leave. Everyone had a great time for 4 nights...

This apartment is smaller than the pictures make it out to be, but it is everything it is advertised to be. Master bedroom (and its bed) is small. Many new furnishings and the cleaning crew left the place clean enough to perform surgery on the floor. Its strong points are the 3/4 kitchen, the TVs/DVR/cable, a powerful air conditioner, and the hot tub/Jacuzzi. The location is a blessing and a curse. It is close to Parque Lleras' dining and night club zone which is convenient, unless you like to sleep: the small bars on the ground level play their music loud enough to shake loose the fillings in your teeth until 3am, and you wake up with ringing ears. The wake up occurs at 8am because the demolition crew is dismantling the building next door down to its foundation....with sledgehammers. Blam! Blam! Blam!....Blam!....Blam! I got better sleep in Fallujah. During the daytime, there are many conveniences within walking distance: money-changers, small grocery stores, lunch counters, pharmacies. A couple of blocks away, there is a park with a walking path that leads to the Dan Carlton Hotel and the main street and simple/rugged exercise machines that was popular with locals and tourists.
