Puerto Rico vacation rentals

The other reviews are all true! This is in a safe, family friendly condo complex. We met many other Puerto Rican families and lots of other US families with younger kids. Great location. The beach is gorgeous here. We checked out Old San Juan, did a day at El Yunque, a snorkel tour to Icacos out of Fajardo, and a Bio bay tour by speedboat out of Fajardo. Wish we would have had more days to just hang out at the condo for more pool-beach-pool-beach-pool… time. The condo itself is the penthouse- very clean and modern with super comfy beds and couches and everything you need for beach day. The air conditioning worked great! The best were the views from the amazing terrace and balconies. Very nice outdoor furniture too. We are planning to come back here again. Our favorite restaurants were La Parilla at the kiosks- try their pastillas(empanadas) and Puerto Rican rice and beans. There is a great clean little bakery (and affordable) right before the light at Rt 3 called Rico Pan Bakery - try the cheese pastries (look like sticks) and anything guava. And sandwiches are huge and delicious- will be going there more often next time we come. We had a wonderful time with our family of 6 - we had a 4 yr old and 6 yr old, and 2 grandparents. You will not be disappointed!

After seven days in Vieques with two other families I needed to extend my stay to have some quite time with my family. I called on "Super" Karen (property mgr). Karen, found me the perfect place in Villa Destino, it was exactly what my family and I needed. Tucked in perfectly on side of a modest hill overlooking the bio bay and all the best beaches in Vieques Chivas, Caracas, Sun Bay and the town of Esperanza. Villa Destino, was as advertised great pool, excellent views, quiet neighborhood and easy access to both key towns in Vieques, Isabella II and Esperanza. Some restaurants were closed in preparation for the high season, but Bananas, Bili's and Duffy's were all open and hopping in Esperanza as well as El Block where we enjoyed evening drinks. In Isabella II, we often visited our favorite bakery La Viequense and dined at both Mama Mia (cool vibe and live music) along with Bieke Bistro (twice) where I had the BEST Shrimp Mofongo ever! Other places we visited and enjoyed was the Food Court off Route 200 near Isabella II, with Food Trucks, both trucks we ate from were great. On the food end I can't forget the kiosk Cositas Ricas (across from Sun Bay Beach), all Puerto Rican Authentic goodies and a great place to pick up from before heading to the beach. Post Maria Hurricane recovery in Vieques has been amazing! Vieques is definitely back and I'm very happy to be able to make a small contribution and share my experience with others. Really enjoyed my stay at Villa Destino and thank you very much Karen for making my fifth trip to Vieques the best one yet for my family and I.

We had a great time as a family of 5 in this beautiful beach house. Smooth check in/out, very responsive host. The place it’s very peaceful and safe; AC was great and the apartment was very clean. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The apartment is beach ready with portable chairs, floaties, beach toys for the kids and basketball/ football. Washing/dryer worked amazing after beach days. We loved that it’s a 3 mn walk from the apartment to shore, very private and beautiful. There’s some outdoor showers to clean everything before heading upstairs. There’s plenty of restaurants around with local food, seafood, bakeries and pizza. The Yunque Rainforest is a couple of minutes away if you like hiking, nature walks and rivers. We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s 65th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect for our group of nine (eight adults and one six-year-old). Corey was extremely accommodating and proactive from the very beginning. He even called before our arrival date just to touch base, which we truly appreciated. His instructions were thorough and made everything seamless. The space was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own room and privacy, and it never felt overcrowded. The common areas were spacious, the kitchen was huge and fully equipped, and the entire home was squeaky clean and well maintained. The pool was amazing, and the view was spectacular, even better than we expected. The location was ideal: close to Old San Juan, the rainforest, and the beaches, yet just far enough outside the city to relax and enjoy real family time. Honestly, the property itself was a getaway. Even if we had stayed there the entire trip without going anywhere, it would have been memorable.

This was our 2nd time staying here and once again it exceeded our expectations. We loved it so much the 1st time that we decided to celebrate Christmas here and I proposed to my future wife while staying here. The host is extremely professional, very responsive, and always willing to help with any questions or needs.This time we stayed with our son, and he loved it. He loved the game room and all the Christmas decorations throughout the house, which made the stay feel extra special and cozy. One of our favorite features is the washer and dryer, which made it so convenient to wash clothes after beach days and have our things washed and ready for our next beach trip.The Airbnb is incredibly well stocked, and you can tell a lot of thought went into making sure guests have everything they could possibly need. They even had hair tools which my fiancée really loved.The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchenware. The area is very peaceful,We truly love this Airbnb and would recommend it.

We are five friends who spent 11 unforgettable days in Puerto Rico in Nerissa’s beautiful house with wide ocean view and relaxing breeze. The house is everything one could want and more . Spacious, airy , clean and bright, with all the comforts of home , with 3 gorgeous terraces where you can relax and take in the view , well appointed and well situated ( close to beaches, grocery stores restaurants and the most wonderful local bakery ,coqui pan , where we became daily clients for their sandwiches and coqui fingers ) . Nerissa was a wonderful host, from the first contact until we left; she even shared with us breadfruit chips and wonderful fresh cilantro from her garden). Appreciate the communication, great suggestions and ideas. We did not feel the need for AC in the house despite temperatures in the 80’s outside and we appreciate her concern for the environment!. There aren’t words enough to describe how wonderful this stay was. The home is beautiful and pictures really don’t do it justice. The view is breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some…even a pineapple corer :)! April and Jarl went above and beyond as hosts - their communication, support and resources were of the highest quality. We had a few unique challenges arise during our stay and they went out of their way to help us, even when it wasn’t necessary for them to. We never felt like a burden as guests in their home which is a huge consideration when renting out other people’s homes We felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. The internet was being stubborn which really was such a minor issue and they did everything to resolve it within a day. There’s only two bedrooms so larger groups would have to consolidate (I think there is pull out couches), but it’s so worth it. The space is huge and welcoming. The outside social space is where we spent most of our time and it was AMAZING. I 100% will return if I ever make it back to PR and encourage anyone who has the opportunity to do so. Mike's home is perfectly located right in the heart of Condado beach, down the street from great eats and fun nightlife, yet very residential in feeling - which we loved. We had a great time on our vacation, thanks to comfortable bedrooms and easy access to beach and pool. It was easy to keep the house pleasant and clean thanks to the couple of Roomba vacuum cleaners. One thing to keep in mind, for those who might have trouble with stairs, is that one floor has all the living space, and all bedrooms and bathrooms are on a separate floor. The views of the beach are pleasant and a definite bonus. We were six people and using the internet for work, so when we all needed simultaneous access it was a bit challenging at times. Highly recommended.
