It was an easy and seamless process booking an apartment for my holiday on Houfy. The best aspect was that there were no extra costs. I saw the same place for more on other websites and saved money booking through Houfy. It really makes a difference and you can spend the additional saved money on experiences and/or tours.

Easy and seamless process

Houfy provided me with links to all communications with our host, allowed me to review the rental anytime and pay for our vacation without having to go back through and reenter info. The contracting practice was all online so I didn’t have to do any paperwork after the fact. Happy with the outcome!

You will visit Paradox, BeirWerks, Ute Pass, Manitou Springs, Fossil Brewing, Cerberus Brewing Company, and Colorado Mountain Brewery. New for 2019 is the brewpub of Iron Tree right in Florissant, just north of Hwy 24. Colorado is the nation’s leading producer of small shop beer. The micro-brewery movement is big business here. These breweries have large distribution throughout the state and beyond. You won’t want to drink on an empty stomach. Eat at the breweries… They have wonderful food.

Teller County has lots of fantastic hiking areas. One gem very near TihsreeD Lodge Wedding and Event Venue is known as Pancake Rocks. The trailhead is located just off of Hwy 67 S (between Divide and Cripple Creek). Our favorite part of this hike is the ancient grain grinding marks left behind by Native Americans who used grindstones here a thousand years ago. Use this link to learn more about the wonderful, nearby hiking you can enjoy when your visit TihsreeD.

Toni and Don always dreamed of entering the lodging business and in 2010 decided to go for it. They have had a wonderful time sharing TihsreeD (Tiz-reed) and meeting lovely people from all over the world. They enjoy helping their guests plan a Colorado adventure. Their goal is to ensure that your time at TihsreeD is memorable and that you will want to return.

Toni is a chemist, teacher, and artist. She enjoys making the Lodge look special and is always available to assist you with your stay.

Don is financial services consultant and the general handy man for the Lodge.

Both Toni and Don are marathon runners, skiers, and cyclists. They stay fit tending to the 50 private acres that make up TihsreeD. Fire mitigation, tending to the trails, and landscaping at 9000 ft. above sea level is quite a workout. Their  goal is to make all of TihsreeD a park like setting in the mountains.

Toni and Don Moore purchased The Lodge in 2006, and added The Cabin in 2015.
