What This Integration Does?
Hostex is a channel manager and automation platform. Connecting it to Houfy lets Hostex:
- Pull your Houfy calendar prices, availability, minimum/maximum stays, and check-in/check-out dates
- Push rate and availability updates back to Houfy, so blocked dates from other channels (like Airbnb or Booking.com) stay in sync with your Houfy calendar
This connection is completely free — there's no cost from Houfy to connect or use Hostex.
What Does NOT Sync?
Hostex's connection to Houfy covers pricing and availability only. It does not sync:
- Cleaning fees, taxes, or discounts
- Listing content (photos, amenities, house rules, descriptions)
- Guest messages or conversations
- Instant booking settings
How to Connect ?
1. Log in to your Houfy account and go to Channel Managers
2. Find Hostex in the list of available partners
3. Click Copy Token — this copies your unique Houfy API token to your clipboard
4. Go to your Hostex account settings and find the Houfy integration section
5. Paste the token there to complete the connection
6. Once connected, your Houfy listings will appear in your Hostex dashboard, and your calendar/rates will begin syncing.
Accepting Bookings: Important
If a guest sends a booking request through your Houfy listing, it will appear in Hostex's dashboard but we recommend accepting, declining, or confirming that booking directly on Houfy, not through Hostex's Accept button.
- For a paid, pending reservation, accepting on Houfy directly is the most reliable path.
- For an unpaid inquiry, Hostex cannot confirm it — go to the reservation on Houfy and use Mark as Confirmed or Send a Payment Request.
Once you confirm or accept a booking on Houfy, it will automatically sync over to Hostex — you don't need to do anything on Hostex's side afterward.

1. Is Hostex free to connect to Houfy?
Yes. There is no cost from Houfy to connect your account to Hostex.
2.Why can't I accept a booking through Hostex?
If the reservation is still an unpaid inquiry, Hostex isn't able to confirm it — this must be done directly on Houfy. For paid reservations, we recommend accepting on Houfy directly for the most reliable result.
3.Do guest messages sync between Houfy and Hostex?
No, conversations are not currently synced between the two platforms.
4.I connected Hostex but my calendar isn't updating. What should I do?
Double check the token was pasted correctly into Hostex's settings. If it still isn't syncing, contac Houfy support with your listing ID and Hostex account details.
