It was an easy and seamless process booking an apartment for my holiday on Houfy. The best aspect was that there were no extra costs. I saw the same place for more on other websites and saved money booking through Houfy. It really makes a difference and you can spend the additional saved money on experiences and/or tours.

Easy and seamless process

Houfy provided me with links to all communications with our host, allowed me to review the rental anytime and pay for our vacation without having to go back through and reenter info. The contracting practice was all online so I didn’t have to do any paperwork after the fact. Happy with the outcome!

Thank you for checking out our cabin Paws and Unwind. We are Mike and Linda Yencha and we have been in the travel and hospitality business for over 35 years. 

For 25 years we owned and ran Loon Lodge off the grid  in remote northern Maine. We lodged, fed and guided 1000's of guests over the years in our log lodge and guest cabins.

After we left Maine we went even further into the wilderness to Alaska. We built a beautiful lodge in the Alaskan bush. Our lodge was only accessible by seaplane or a one hour boat trip from the nearest road. We lodged, fed and guided fishermen for 12 years in Alaska before finally calling it quits and retiring.

We spent a year looking for the perfect log home, when we came across Paws and Unwind we knew we found it! We have added our personal touches to the cabin and we will continue to improve our log home in the coming years. Thank you for checking us out!
