EXPERIENCE NATURE IN SWEDISH LAPLAND
The cabin is located in the small village of Nattavaaraby, surrounded by forests, wilderness and the unique Eight Sami Seasons.
Although situated in the heart of the village, the location is exceptionally peaceful, offering privacy, fresh air and endless natural beauty

DISCOVER THE MAGIC OF ARCTIC NATURE
Pick wild berries, mushrooms and traditional Nordic herbs
Walk peaceful forest trails and quiet country roads

Fish in nearby lakes or in the beautiful Råne River

* RECONNECT • REVITALIZE • RELAX • RECHARGE
The goal is to offer more than accommodation - Here you experience a slower, simpler way of life where nature, silence and history become part of your stay.

The cabin is lovingly furnished with carefully selected vintage furniture, antique details and restored treasures.
Every piece has its own story, creating an atmosphere where heritage and modern comfort blend naturally together.

SUSTAINABLE LIVING INSPIRING BY NATURE
Life and space around the cabin is gradually being developed according to sustainable principles inspired by permaculture.

Here we focus on:
- Growing vegetables and berries on a small scale
- Collecting rainwater
- Natural food storage and responsible use of resources

To hopefully inspire the guests to discover a more sustainable, energy-efficient and nature-connected lifestyle.

LIVING CLOSE TO NATURE
Water is collected from the cold spring well for washing dishes and for the sauna.
Dishes are washed in traditional basins using environmentally friendly, biodegradable cleaning products.

During winter, nature provides its own refrigerator. Food can be stored outdoors in a traditional wooden storage box, just as people did for generations before electricity became common.

WILDLIFE AROUND THE CABIN
Nature is never far away.

Throughout the year you may experience wildlife right outside the cabin:
Small birds gather at the feeding station outside the windows during winter
Red squirrels frequently visit the property

Baby hares often play nearby during the summer months
Swallows build their nests in the traditional farm buildings

Every season brings new wildlife experiences and unforgettable moments.

Hello, I’m Lena and delighted to welcome you to Nattavaaraby – a small village surrounded by forests, lakes and the quiet beauty of Swedish Lapland For me, this is much more than a place to stay. It is home. Nature has shaped my life since childhood. I have always found peace and inspiration in the forests. I believe that time spent outdoors teaches us some of life’s most valuable lessons – patience, simplicity and gratitude. My Sami heritage has also influenced the way I see nature. I grew up with a deep respect for the land and for the close connection between people, wildlife and the changing seasons Here in Lapland, we don’t simply experience four seasons – we follow the rhythm of the traditional eight Sami seasons ~ each with its own unique character. As a certified nature guide with a passion for sustainable living, I have carefully restored these cabins to offer an authentic off-grid experience. My hope is that every guest can slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with nature in a genuine and comfortable way. Whether you come to watch the Northern Lights, enjoy the midnight sun, hike through ancient forests or simply listen to the silence ~ I hope you will leave with memories that stay with you long after your journey ends. It would be my pleasure to welcome you to this special and beautiful area of Northern Sweden Warm regards - Lena 🦌🐾✨
