SevenWind's Casino is within walking distance, with hundreds of games and a full menu at Kinnikkinnik Basket restaurant.
It is a short drive to downtown Hayward, where you can pop into all the local shops offering taffy, fudge, popcorn, icecream, gifts, and antiques.
The closest CAMBA mountain bike trailhead is within a 10 minute drive. The CAMBA area totals over 130 miles of dedicated trail, and over 200 miles of mapped gravel routes.
Also a short drive away is the Birkebeiner (Birkie) Trail System, 100+ kilometers of groomed ski trail, and is great for hiking in the warmer weather months.
The Red Walleye sits a short drive between Round Lake and Grindstone Lake, two of the area's largest lakes, great for fishing, boating, swimming, and other water sports. Hayward Lake, Murray Lake, and many local water systems are also close by.
