Welcome to the Lodges at Buffalo Mountain! We offer a main home with five spacious bedrooms, a wood burning stove, and fully-stocked kitchen! Outside, you will find miles of trails and terrain on 168 private acres! You can also walk next door to Chateau Morrisette Winery. Our home is a quick drive the towns of Floyd and Meadows of Dan. Close to Mabry Mill, Buffalo Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Experience zip lining, hiking, wine and spirits tasting, and the epic Floyd Fest! Welcome!

We live just north of Charlotte, NC so we are not local. However, if you need anything at all we are just a phone call away!

Remember, you are in the middle of the forest - there is wildlife who calls our property home! During hunting months (October through January) please wear bright orange hats and vests (we have some supplied in our hall closet). Also, take along some bear spray!

Deer ticks are prevalent in this region, so please plan accordingly when you are packing bug spray.

Our five-bedroom home offers four bedrooms on the upper level.
1) The master has a king bed,
2) A large room offers a full bed as well as a twin-over-full bunk bed,
3) Another room has queen bed,
4) The final bedroom has a twin bed with a twin-sized trundle bed that pulls out

The finished basement offers a private bedroom with a king bed, and the living room is furnished with a full-size sleeper sofa.

Payment Policy

We request a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due ten days prior to arrival.
If you make a last-minute reservation (within 30 days), we ask for 100% upfront.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund 30+ days before arrival.
50% of deposit (25% of total rent) is refundable if cancelled 16-29 days before arrival.
50% deposit is non-refundable if canceled within 15 days.
