Come relax in this one-of-a-kind luxury 2-bedroom/2-bathroom home within minutes of hiking trails, the best eateries, shopping, & entertainment options.This sparkling clean architect's vacation home is in a perfect location for hikers, runners, cyclists, and mountain bikers! We have an enclosed private backyard for outdoor dining, barbecues, and cocktails (and a safe place for your small dog), front patio for red rock gazing, and back patio and telescope for stargazing and feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere. The house is fully loaded with everything you could need for an amazing month long stay - our amenities rival the best Airbnb's worldwide. We even have two beach cruiser-type bikes to borrow and a carpeted workout area in the garage.

This is THE PLACE for working from home. Can you imagine? No commute other than to a morning or afternoon hike and the best zoom backgrounds to make all of your coworkers jealous!

BEDROOMS:

• Primary Bedroom with views and sliding glass door to patio – King bed (brand new Green Tea memory foam mattress) and luxurious bathroom, bath robes, slippers, eye masks, walk-in closet with plenty of hangars, two luggage racks, mid century dresser, sitting area, TV, lamps with USB ports, and spacious desk workspace – perfect for working remotely.

• Second bedroom with views – Pillow top king bed, lamps with USB ports, mid century heirloom dresser, closet with hangars and a luggage rack, bath robes, slippers, eye masks, and modern white and gold bathroom directly across the hallway.

SITTING AREA + LIVING ROOM

• Sitting area off kitchen with a spacious work area with desk and shelving – perfect for working remotely. This area also includes a pair of mod rattan chairs and table for chilling out while dinner is being made.

• Beautiful living room with exposed beam ceilings, electric fireplace, and 180 degrees of red rock views. Includes record player and over (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) vintage records, tiki mug collection, board games, and books to enjoy. Brand new telescope for star gazing! We also just added two super comfy modern recliners that are great for movie watching as an alternative to the couch.

PATIOS:

• Front patio with two hanging chairs and lounge furniture to enjoy incredible views of Thunder Mountain, Chimney Rock, and Coffee Pot and fire pit to use when burn ban is not in effect.

• 1st Back patio with flagstone, hanging chair and lounge furniture and views of Coffee Pot and the Mogollon Rim. Recently extended/expanded so it’s huge and ready for chilling out in the sunshine or shade.

• 2nd Back patio with barbecue grill and outdoor dining under a shade canopy in a private, fenced yard with bistro lights for evening dining.

• 2 awesome hammocks in the backyard for lazy day shady lounging

KITCHEN:

• We provide kitchen pantry basics (oils, vinegar, spices, hot sauces, etc.), coffee pods, tea bags, and sweeteners & creamers.

• New modern kitchen with stove, French door refrigerator with freezer drawer (ice maker and internal filtered water dispenser), high quality pots/pans/cookware/utensils (tons of appliances including a toaster, Ninja blender, immersion blender, food processor, Instant Pot, air fryer, bread machine, French press, coffee bean grinder, drip coffee maker, Spiralizer, electric water kettle, Keurig coffee maker, Yonanas maker, wok, built-in microwave, baking pans and sheets, chopsticks, reusable straws, and many beautiful serving dishes).

• Incredible set of rare vintage Mid Century Modern Japanese China from the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 's (Fukagowa Star-Cross pattern) to use for a dinner worth celebrating – along with luxury table linens.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

This home is not suitable for young children. Older (responsible and behaved) children will be considered. We also **MAY** consider dogs and need to discuss the type/breed and size before we can approve them.

SECURITY CAMERAS:

Like most hosts and all hotels, we protect our property with security cameras. We have a ring doorbell, a connected camera above the garage, and a camera off the back fenced in patio. This is to protect our home and our belongings, as well as protecting our guests while you are staying with us. We check to see when you first arrive, when our cleaners are there, and when you depart.

PLEASE NOTE:

Guests are expected to read & be willing to honor House Rules. Yes it's tedious but we ask you to sign a PDF document of our house rules before booking is confirmed. No gatherings/parties allowed, only booked guests can be there at any time (unless discussed/approved and additional fees paid in advance). Additional security deposit of $650 required for every booking per House Rules; booking implies agreement to pay deposit and honor rules. Unpaid deposit means no entry. No cats (allergies). Dogs must be discussed/approved and paid in advance.
