THE COTTAGE
Simple, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The bedroom offers a queen bed with fresh linens, while the living room's queen-size pull-out sofa sleeps up to 4 total. The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo stocked with towels, plus shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower — note the bathroom uses a space-saving accordion-style sliding door rather than a traditional hinged door, which may not offer the same level of privacy that a traditional door would, so it's best suited for those comfortable with that.
The kitchen comes fully stocked so you can cook up a fresh catch or a home-cooked meal, and a Keurig with K-Cups means coffee's ready the moment you're up. The dining table seats 4, and the living room's Smart TV with Roku lets you sign into your own streaming accounts — Roku signs you out automatically at checkout, so your accounts stay private.

PARKING & BOAT STORAGE
The driveway is partially shared with the neighbor and offers 38 feet of usable length — enough to comfortably fit a smaller boat trailer. No-hassle boat trailer parking is hard to find in a Vermilion cottage rental, making this a rare perk if you're heading out on Lake Erie.

THE AREA
Main Street Beach is a 5-minute drive — a free public beach with a kayak/canoe launch and classic Lake Erie sunsets. Nokomis Beach is under a mile for a quieter option, and Linwood Park's private sandy beach (day passes at the gate) is close by too. Time your trip right and catch the free Main Street Beach concert series (through mid-September) or the lakefront Vermilion Beach Market each August. Showse Park's walking trails are 1.5 miles out, downtown Vermilion's shops and restaurants are under 2 miles, and Cedar Point is 30 minutes west.
