Little Beaver Cabin is a private mountain retreat tucked away in Cherry Log with a breathtaking stocked pond view. A long secluded driveway ensures privacy and serenity, while multiple decks (including one with a beautiful preserved tree) let you relax and soak in the sights and sounds of nature. Despite its seclusion, the cabin is just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay, making it the ideal mountain getaway.

Our cozy two-bedroom cabin comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests, with a queen bed in each room. There’s a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, plus a hot tub outdoors for relaxing after a day of hiking and exploring. In the evenings, gather around the wood-burning firepit (firewood not provided) to share stories and enjoy the mountain air.

To enhance your stay, the cabin features three decks, each offering a unique perspective of the peaceful surroundings. Most roads in the community are paved, making access easier.

Inside, the cabin is fully stocked and professionally cleaned before each guest’s arrival. It’s a simple yet comfortable space for those who want the authentic mountain experience with the comforts of home. Enjoy three Roku smart TVs and modern amenities throughout.

Important Notes:

Maximum occupancy: 4 guests

Bring your own firewood for the firepit (do not use branches or sticks from outside).

The indoor fireplace is closed April 1 – October 1 and not operational during those months.

Charcoal grill available (guests must bring charcoal and lighter fluid).


Guest Starter Supplies Provided:

Travel-size shampoo, conditioner, lotion

1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper

1 laundry detergent

Kitchen trash bags and hand soap


These are starter items to help you settle in—you may wish to bring additional toiletries, cooking essentials (coffee, spices, foil, etc.), and grilling supplies.

Mountain Life Disclaimer:
The beauty of the mountains comes with wildlife. Bears and other animals roam freely—do not feed or approach them. You may also encounter bugs or critters indoors despite monthly pest control; if you see the occasional one, it means the treatment is working. Please keep doors closed to help minimize this.

There is a bathroom with a modern shower, and outside, you'll find the hot tub that is perfect for a nice, relaxing evening after a fun-filled day of hiking and exploring Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Additionally, there is a wood burning fire pit to cap off the night and bring your family and friends together for memorable conversations.

To enhance your enjoyment there are 3 deck levels. Each level has something special to offer. Most roads in the community are Paved.

There are 3 smart Roku televisions. The maximum occupancy is up to 4 people. Please note: Must bring your own firewood to use the firepit. DO NOT USE STICKS OR BRANCHES FROM OUTSIDE. The usage of the fireplace is not permitted from April 1 to October 1. They are not operational during this time of the year.

Guest Starter Supplies:

We provide some helpful supplies so you don't have to make a run to the store as soon as you arrive. These Guest Starter Supplies include the following: ALL Travel size items: shampoo, conditioner and lotion. 1 roll of paper towel, 1 roll of toilet paper. 1 laundry detergent. kitchen trash bags, and soap for each sink. These starter supplies are intended to get you started so you don't have to immediately run out to the store, however you may want to pack some extras from home and also bring kitchen items such as spices, ziploc bags, tin foil, coffee, etc as those aren't provided. GUESTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN CHARCOAL AND LIGHTER FLUID FOR THE CHARCOAL GRILL.

MTN life includes peace and serenity; bears and other wild life can be encountered living freely in this area. Do not try to feed them; stay away. They are dangerous.

It’s not unusual for native bugs/critter to get into the cabin. We do a good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival and its followed with complete monthly pest control services. Please be courteous and close the door behind you to prevent unwanted critters indoors. Please be understanding of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature. If you happen to see a dead bug, it means pest control is doing it's job.

MTN life also means you don't have the strongest water pressure at times. All cabins in the community are on a septic tank and well.

There are security cameras in place for your protection(outside only). If you touch or tamper with the cameras you will be asked to leave the property immediately. This is for your protection.

Please Note there is white sap residue on the second deck from the pine tree.

The trash company only comes once a week, which is every Mondays.
