ist villas was created with a simple belief: there is no single right way to stay. Some guests come to slow down, unplug, and enjoy digital detox in a quiet island setting. Others come to gather with friends, celebrate milestones, and enjoy the freedom of having their own space. Both are welcome here — without judgement.
Our villas are designed to offer choice. Privacy when you want it, shared spaces when you don’t, and just enough structure to make island living easy without feeling controlled. Technology inside the villas is intentionally limited to encourage presence, but connectivity is always available nearby when needed.
We live and operate on the island, and a team member is always nearby for assistance while respecting guest privacy. Whether you’re here to rest, reconnect, celebrate, or disappear for a while, the island makes room for it.

Getting around
We offer free pickup from the island ferry pier to and from the villa. Kojima Island is reached by a short ferry ride from Hinase Port. The Hinase ferry terminal is next to the Paone supermarket, with parking available behind the building.
The island is small and easy to explore on foot. A local taxi service is available for a fee if needed. There is no public bus system on the island. Ferry schedules and travel guidance can be provided before arrival upon request.
