ist villas was created with a simple belief: there is no single right way to stay. Some guests come to slow down, unplug, and enjoy digital detox in a quiet island setting. Others come to gather with friends, celebrate milestones, and enjoy the freedom of having their own space. Both are welcome here — without judgement.
Our villas are designed to offer choice. Privacy when you want it, shared spaces when you don’t, and just enough structure to make island living easy without feeling controlled. Technology inside the villas is intentionally limited to encourage presence, but connectivity is always available nearby when needed.
We live and operate on the island, and a team member is always nearby for assistance while respecting guest privacy. Whether you’re here to rest, reconnect, celebrate, or disappear for a while, the island makes room for it.

Getting around
We provide free pickup from the island ferry pier to and from the villa on arrival and departure. Kojima Island is accessed by a short ferry ride of around 15 minutes from Hinase Port. The ferry terminal in Hinase is located next to the Paone supermarket, with car parking available behind the store.
Once on the island, most places are reachable on foot. For guests who prefer not to walk, a local taxi service is available on the island for a fee. Ferry schedules and detailed arrival instructions can be shared upon request. Guests are encouraged to plan ferry times in advance, as services run on a fixed schedule.
