With 3 bedrooms & free parking, you'll have the whole house to yourselves. Enjoy a well equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a living & dining area, a sunny roof-level garden AND scenic front patio.
If using Airbnb to book rather than with us, their fees are included so price differs from that offered elsewhere. The Cottage Aberdovey is on Google maps.

The space
Dogs welcome by prior arrangement-MUST STAY IN OUR SPACIOUS KITCHEN. Safety rule to protect young children from ticks & Lyme disease.

*Good mobile signal. 4g/5g WiFi. Electric radiators for heating. Can't use fireplaces or smoke.
*Oak beams/floors. Might not suit severe asthmatics.

Near Beach, National Park, Boats, Golf, Nature, Bird watching. Must write 'giraffe' with booking request to show you've read this. It's to ensure you understand it's historic & basic, though many reviewers say the description is underplayed.

Guest access
Free Parking at Penhelig car park (170m) AND at the big beach. Guests do stop outside to unload.

Short (almost flat) walk to village. 3 mins to pub. Above Penhelig beach. Set back & raised up from 20mph road (everyone says it's quiet, unlike the places right on the road). No footpath but park cut through nearby.

Scenic little patio to sit out front. Secluded sun trap roof garden, sheltered, stunning views, great for tanning. Enjoy romantic evenings sunset-watching. Access is seasonal & up steps.

Personal check in: 4pm-9pm. Check out: 11am.
No earlier check-in or late night check in, sorry.

Other things to note
*MUST PUT RIGHT NUMBER OF GUESTS WHEN BOOKING. Can't use more beds than number of guests booked. Unauthorised guests = extra admin charge. CCTV outside.

Pets only by prior arrangement. MUST STAY IN KITCHEN & USE BACK DOOR. Ticks can be treatment resistant & carry Lyme disease. Calm dogs who can happily settle by themselves do stay here & we love meeting them.

Eco-friendly energy fair use policy. Normal, comfortable use is covered, but if you don't switch off when going out, you can easily add more (message host) "We had enough credit on the smart meter to last 4 of us for 7 nights with credit left over."
