The ten-hectare area, also known as the "floating moor", has been part of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park since 1986. A "salt marsh adventure trail" and the national park adventure centre are also part of the Sehestedt lido. Dykes and dykes characterise the face of the marshland. The season-independent seawater spring pool in Dangast is popular. For swimming, there is the "ffn-Friesenstrand" in Tossens and the North Sea lagoon in Burhave. It is 50m² in size and suitable for up to 4 people. The 2000 m² property with play facilities for children and a run for dogs, as well as a lawn with garden furniture are also available for use. Car and motorbike parking spaces are available at the house.
