Eagle Bluff Estate, proudly managed by My Favorite Home Away From Home, is a premier vacation rental nestled in Mauston, WI. This expansive log cabin offers comfortable sleeping accommodations with 13 beds, including 3 king beds, 4 full beds, 1 queen bed, 3 queen futons, and 2 convertible full couch beds, making it ideal for large groups. The property features 5 bathrooms, including 2 luxurious jetted tubs, 2 regular tubs, and a stand-up shower for added convenience.

Guests will enjoy the fully equipped kitchens, which include essentials like pots, pans, dishes, a Keurig coffee machine (BYO K-cups), an air fryer, a toaster, a teapot with tea, a selection of spices, and more. A favorite spot for many is the open-concept living room, kitchen, and four-seasons room, complete with a cozy wood-burning fireplace.

Entertainment and relaxation options abound at Eagle Bluff Estate. Inside, you'll find an indoor gas fireplace in the game room, an electric fireplace in the cabin living room, and Roku TVs in each bedroom and common area, with streaming services accessible via guest accounts. Guests can enjoy a pool table, foosball table, board games, a craft area, a small library, a work desk, and a video gaming area equipped with PS4 and Wii consoles. Outdoors, relax around the campfire area (BYO firewood), or enjoy the open balcony and two screened-in porches. A gas grill with supplied propane is perfect for outdoor cooking, and the expansive grounds provide plenty of parking for vehicles, RVs, campers, and recreational toys.

Groups over 16 will incur an additional charge of $25 per guest per night. For gatherings exceeding 26 people, guests can also rent Bear Cove Escape, another property managed by My Favorite Home Away From Home, located just 18 minutes away in Lyndon Station. This nearby property accommodates up to 15 additional guests. A discounted rate is available when both homes are rented for the same group.

While the estate offers plenty of outdoor space to explore, it does not have dedicated trails for ATVs or snowmobiles. Guests are encouraged to use nearby public trails or roads that permit such activities. The surrounding properties are private and do not allow ATV or snowmobile access. Please refer to the county website for trail locations, and your cooperation with these guidelines is greatly appreciated.

We are typically available during the hours of 7 am-10 pm. If it is outside of these hours, we will respond as quickly as possible.

This property is set back off the main road about 500 ft, giving you and your group the privacy you are looking for. It is an extremely remote area, perfect for relaxing with really no immediate neighbors. There is a small, secluded beach near the damn that is about a half-mile walk.

If you plan to travel around the neighborhood you can drive, bike, use ATV or UTV, snowmobile, etc. as the property is on a 55mph road. Downtown Mauston is only a 10-15 minute drive and has some restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and gas stations. There is an airsoft place a couple minutes from the house that is great.

No fireworks on the property.

Quiet hours are from 11 PM-7 AM.

Streaming services are available with guests’ account(s).

We have one outdoor security camera mounted by the screened-in porch near the garage.

This property is located on a secluded, wooded property. There is wildlife including bats, deer, and other animals.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. This fee is $125 for your entire stay. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $125 pet fee will apply for each additional approved dog. Please make sure to clean up after your pets.

If your group has over 16 people, you need the manager's approval for your stay. The cost is $25 per guest per night over 16 if approved. If available, we have another property 18 minutes away that larger groups can rent along with Eagle Bluff Estate to make your stay more pleasant. We recommend this for groups larger than 26 people. The property is Bear Cove Escape in Lyndon Station and it sleeps an additional 15 people.

Parking notes: There is free parking for 16 vehicles.
