The stunning Deschutes River runs along the large, private backyard just steps from home. Stunning views from the house as well as from the hot tub, fire pit, and hammock!

The relaxing and sunny home is on a private drive but is walkable to the main drive in Tumalo (The Bite, Tumalo Cider Co, Tumalo Coffee, Farmers Market) and 10 min. drive to Bend & 20 to Bachelor. See river & wildlife from the beautifully decorated 2,000 sf. home. All amenities to make a truly unique, memorable vacation!
Cozy and elegant in one!

The stunning Deschutes River going through the backyard! A single-level home on 1 acre with the backyard facing the river. The house is approx 2000 square feet and is a 3 bedroom, has a laundry room, 2 baths (one tub/shower and one walk-in shower), fully equipped kitchen, dining, living, courtyard, and 2 backyard patio lounging/eating areas.

Decor
Casual, minimal, and happy. We use light neutral tones to feel like the relaxing and happy place it is. Bedding is cotton, pillows are natural materials with covers, quality soaps, and cleaning supplies. We use natural materials for the landscaping and hope to keep building the flowers and garden areas.

Backyard
Hammock, firepit, hot tub, badminton, frisbee golf, the river, lounge chairs, sun chairs, outdoor seating couch/chairs, outside dining table near BBQ. We tried to think of everything to make it a perfect spot!

Hi there! Thanks for considering Deschutes Dreams! About me: I love Central Oregon and all it has to offer. I love the kind people, the great outdoor activities, the Mountain views and the many things you can do in all the seasons.

This property is a riverfront acre on the Deschutes River in the backyard. There is a large, green grass yard in the back and patios. Sitting outside and watching the water is my happy place.

The river is stunning year-round. When I can, I love to paddleboard or float the river. I’m the winter season; I snowboard at one of the local mountains or cozy up by the fire. And on an auspicious day, relax in the hammock and read.

Getting around

Riverfront. Steps to the Deschutes running in the backyard. Views from nearly every room. Guests love this location because it is quiet and peaceful but only a short walk to downtown Tumalo. Tumalo is a 10-minute drive to downtown Bend and 15 to Sisters/Redmond. The property has plenty of parking in front of the house/driveway. You can get to anything you need with a walk or a short car drive. Very close drive (on the way to downtown Bend, are stores like Trader Joe's, Sporting Goods, Crafts, Clothing, and more restaurants). Check out the Cascade Shopping Center for the details.

In terms of finding the house, it is easy with GPS but also a simple place to find. It is a couple of blocks from downtown Tumalo, and the actual property is on a dead-end road.

Plenty of parking as the entire property is one acre, so has a large open parking area in front of the house as well as along the very long circular driveway if needed.

House Rules

Please be considerate of our neighbors and be kind! People are so nice here because the people are so nice! Please observe quiet time outside from 9pm-8am. You can be outside, but please not too loud! We have a fire pit and hot tub that you can use at your own risk. Never let children use the hot tub unattended and please put the cover back on after every use. The trees drop quite a bit in it very quickly and it is hard to cleanout. The house is on a septic tank, nothing but water/liquid down the drain and nothing other than body waste and toilet paper in the toilets. We have gardeners that come to work (not during ski/snow season!). They might come onto the property and do their job but not bother you. We are happy to ask for them to not come during your stay, just let me know! Have fun! We love this house and the neighbors and want you to fully enjoy yourselves! Amazing location: Deschutes River: The river runs through the backyard! Relax, raft, float, kayak, fish, paddle board-friendly water! A new water rafting/surfing/kayaking spot was completed last year in Bend Old Mill. Many lakes are also a short drive away. Walk to fun spots: The BITE, exercise trail, Tumalo coffee house, farmers market, Tumalo Cider, workout and yoga, bars and restaurants, shopping local spots! Tumalo: Tumalo, (the unincorporated section of Bend, Or.) is in between two really different and very fun towns -- Bend and Sisters. Both are highly sought-after vacation locations, and it's so fun to go 15 minutes in either direction for completely different but equally fun days/nights out! Winter activities galore! We are nearly equally spaced between Mt Bachelor and Mt Hood - all the snow sports you could ever want within minutes. Some activities include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sled dogging, hiking, sledding, cross country, and more.
