Quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants & activities (mini golf, movies, etc)! Easy access to soundside boat launch right in the neighborhood and a short drive to landmark Avalon Pier and parking for beach access!

Our cozy beachbox home offers family beach time in a central location with high speed Wi-Fi, a well-stocked kitchen. Bring your small boat or kayak for use at the sound side boat launch, put your toes in the sand at the beach, or simply relax on the decks with a book and your morning tea or coffee (pairs well with some fresh Duck Donuts) or with an evening cocktail.

For the beach lovers and fishermen this offers access to the soundside boat launch off Dock Street as well as permit parking at Avalon Pier for fishing or beach access for enjoying the sun and surf.

This home offers the cozy comfort of a traditional beachbox home less than 1 mile to the beach and just a few blocks from Bay Drive for a sunset stroll along the multi use path on Bay Drive, a leisurely bike ride, or an early morning run.

No keys to lose or return! Both entrances to the home provide secure keyless entry to the home with customized access code for each stay! No keys to carry and no need to take your Smartphone each time you walk the dog.

The home offers living space, a full kitchen, two bedrooms as well as two decks, an additional seating area under the home, and the back yard with a table and chairs for guest use.

Guests may reach out through the AirBnB messaging system, or by phone or text directly with any questions, issues, problems or to seek guidance on the home or the general area and things to do.

The home is in a residential neighborhood with easy access to the Boat Launch on the sound and a paved path along Bay Drive for biking/walking/jogging with a continuous view of the sound and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Quieter, residential neighborhood that is close to everything: mini golf, movies, shopping, grocery stores, and local eateries with an ample, secluded back yard (unfenced) for relaxing as well as two east facing decks for coffee and sunrise or evening relaxation with a glass of wine. Watch the sunset into the trees from the upper deck. If you want to fish or spend time at the beach, take advantage of parking at beach access at Avalon Pier (first come, first serve) or bring or rent a kayak or small boat and use the soundside boat ramp access with parking. Bed linens and towels are provided and beds are made for arrival. Off street parking for two cars (or one car and your small boat), wifi, ceiling fans with overhead lighting in both bedrooms and the great room, as well as bedrooms with new memory foam queen mattresses, night stands with lamps for reading, a closet to hang clothes and a dresser are offered for your comfort. Or, you can relax in the bonus shaded seating area below the house.

The Outer Banks doesn't have the public transportation options you would find in the city, but we do have taxis, Lyft and Uber available.

Biking (bring yours or rent by the day/week from great local businesses) is also a great way to get around the island for everything from shopping trips to beach or pier visits and you can bring your own bikes or rent through one of our lovely local shops!

Your rental includes complimentary use of the Nags Head YMCA for the whole family for your stay (a $95 value) with indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna as well as weightlifting and cardiovascular training equipment, racquetball court, fitness classes and water park access in season (May through early September).

Please note that availability of this amenity is subject to NC pandemic restrictions, so you should check with the YMCA or message us about current status, and realize this is subject to change between booking date and stay.

We rent weekly in summer with a Friday turn day (check in/check out) from June through September.
