San Martín de Valdeiglesias has more than it seems. It is one of those villages that Madrileños overlook because it doesn’t have a trendy name, but it hides a historical and natural wealth that surprises those who take the time to discover it.

The Castle of Coracera dates back to the 15th century. It was built by the Marquis of Villena and is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the Community of Madrid. Today it hosts exhibitions and cultural events, and from its battlements, you can get panoramic views of the entire village and the mountains.

The Enchanted Forest is unique in Spain: a botanical garden where the vegetation has been shaped over the years into fantastic forms. Cypress mazes, animal figures, plant sculptures. A different plan that works perfectly for all ages.
