Two "Castillos" (castles). Each Castillo has 3 levels, and each level has the same layout per floor with 3bedrooms 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room and wrap around balconies in each tower. Think of it as a condominium building with a 3 bedroom on each floor. One tower has an unheated rooftop jacuzzi. In ground pool at the front of the house.

We handcraft the soaps for the house, and the bath towels are handmade on a loom in Oaxaca in south Mexico.

You are walking distance to almost everything you need or want. The beach is just 150 meters away, and you are a 1 minute walk away from 5th ave and the outdoor mall where you can find Starbucks, Zara, H&M etc. Love the Starbucks there with a huge waterfall and massive shade tree.

So Fase 1 Playacar is the exclusive gated and secure neighborhood of Playa because it is home, or vacation home to many of Mexico's elite. You will find most homes in Fase 1 (as opposed to Fase 2 that is larger and less exclusive and further from beach) are multi million dollar homes. you are Just 150 meters to the beach and 5th is just around the corner. You will find Starbucks, Zara, H&M just around the corner as well. The outdoor mall is actually very beautiful and provides some cool shade and water falls to enjoy.
Nightlife is at different points along 5th ave, typically closer or past calle 12. It would take about 15 minutes or so to walk from the house to CocoBongo.

We will also be listing the Castillos separately each tower if your party is 25 or fewer. This can be booked 6 mo in advance, and condos, sleeping 8 each will be rented separately 1-2 months in advance.

Keep in mind that we do not provide any groceries, drinking water or other beverages for you other than, oil, salt, pepper; so please arrange to order groceries/water from Chedraui's website before you arrive so that you will have everything you need when you check in.
We do provide hand soap and dish soap with sponges and towels, also shampoo in the showers with a beach towel and bath towel for each guest!

Los Castillos villas offer a unique and comfortable vacation experience in a prime location in Playa del Carmen. Built in 1989 and renovated in 2000, they may not have the latest modern amenities, but they can accommodate large groups of up to 50 guests. Despite being an older property, our team works hard to keep the villas clean and well-maintained. However, due to the humidity, sun, and salty air in Playa del Carmen, older homes like these may require ongoing maintenance. If any issues arise during your stay, our team, led by Danny, is ready to address them promptly. If you are looking for a newer property, we have other listings available. However, if you appreciate the charm and character of an older home, the Los Castillos villas may be the perfect choice for your vacation.

We are connected to Airbnb with API software and thus are responsible for damages at our home. This requires a security deposit of $3000usd fully refundable OR a $118 fee that is not refundable, outside of the Airbnb platform. You will see this noted at your Airbnb check out just below your total.
