Booking includes full use of the main living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and yard. Guests may park in the driveway in front of the house, and the large gate at the back of the driveway can be opened to fit a third car. The garage, accessible via the alley behind the house, is available by request. Please let us know at the time of booking if you’d like to use it

We utilize a contactless checkin procedure. Guests will be given a combination to access the property via the front door keypad.

Keep up with your favorite entertainment — The living room has a 65 inch smart tv, and each of the three bedrooms has a 58 inch smart tv. We provide the TV, you provide the account! Please login (and remember to logout) of your own account on each of your favorite streaming apps.

Hate paying a cleaning fee and being expected to clean dishes, wash linens, take the trash bin down an alley, mow the lawn, build a new 200 sq foot addition, etc.? We hate that too. Our check out instructions are simple - please put your dirty dishes in the sink and your trash in the bin. We’ll take care of the rest.

We have a washer and dryer located in the closet at the rear of the house, behind the back door. For safety reasons, we’d greatly appreciate it if our guests out the dryer lint trap between cycles.

Fireplace is decorative, but it has an electric mantle with charming fire light effects.

We have an electric range (oven) with an electric cooktop, dishwasher, a microwave, toaster, and a small countertop Air Fryer/ Toaster Oven. We also have a countertop ice maker. We provide a limited set of pots, pans, and baking sheets.

This charming house was built in 1945 using pier and beam foundation, which was the dominant construction method at the time. While the foundation is well maintained, it is possible for there to be some very minor sloping in the floors due to the ground shifting. This might, at times, cause doors or windows to "stick". This is considered normal for a pier and beam home.

The house receives regular pest treatment, however due to the high humidity and overall warm temperatures associated with the North Texas climate, bugs are ever present and it might still be possible for one to get into the house -- particularly if doors or windows are left open, so please be sure to keep windows and doors closed! If there are any questions or issues during your stay please do not hesitate to contact us!

As this house is located in the heart of the city, there are exterior Ring cameras in front of the house, along the side alley of the house, and in the backyard. These devices are only on the exterior of the house.
