Waterfalls Near Standing Indian
Waterfalls galore! Western North Carolina and north Georgia are known for the many waterfalls that can be found here. Visitors to Casa on the Creek can plan day trips over several day trips to visit nearby falls. Some of the closest can be found in the Standing Indian area of the Nantahala National Forest, just west of Hayesville, NC. Mooney Falls and Big Laurel Falls also happen to be two of our favorites!

Family Farms in Appalachia
There are many things we don't have here in our little corner of the mountains-- Walmart, strip malls, highways and traffic lights-- but one of the things we do have is easy, local access to some of the finest, freshest fruits and vegetables imaginable.
