Introduction
We appreciate that many of our Users — as well as our partners, vendors, and others who may be connected to us — will often want to mention their connection with us and will often want to use our name or logo to do so.

Important Notice
Some uses of our Marks will require an express license. In those cases, the terms of that license will govern. Other uses of our Marks will be governed by separate agreements or terms.

How It Works
All Houfy hosts are eligible to create custom URLs that direct people to your listing.
Multiple listings? Set up individual URLs or choose one for your combined listings.
Important Notes
Each URL is valid only while your listing or account is active
URLs may be forfeited if your listing or account is deactivated
You don't own your custom URL - Houfy may end your use upon policy violations
General Points & Definitions
What We're Covering
When we use the collective term "Marks" (or the singular "Mark"), that means any of our names, logos, icons, design elements, trade dress, or anything else (whether registered or unregistered) that we may use to identify and distinguish our goods or services from those of others.

- Our Marks are valuable assets that we own exclusively
- Permission to use our Marks is non-exclusive and non-transferable
- We may update these terms and review your usage at any time
- We may terminate permission to use our Marks at our discretion
Permitted Uses (Do's)
As a general rule, you may use our Marks to truthfully convey information about your goods or services, but not in a way that will imply endorsement by us of your goods or services or otherwise cause consumer confusion.
Appropriate Usage
- • Use our Marks only on the portion of your website or application that directly relates to our services
- • Use our Marks consistent with any style guidelines we provide
- • Use our Houfy.com word mark without alteration to truthfully refer to us or our services
- • Update your usage to conform to any changes in style guidelines within reasonable time
Prohibited Uses (Don'ts)
Prohibited Activities
- • Don't modify or alter our Marks in any way (no shortening, abbreviating, or translating)
- • Don't misrepresent your relationship with us or imply our endorsement
- • Don't use our Marks more prominently than your own
- • Don't use our Marks in ways unrelated to us or our services
- • Don't use our Marks on tangible merchandise or promotional items
- • Don't incorporate our Marks into your own trademarks or domain names
- • Don't use our Marks in disparaging or derogatory ways
- • Don't add ™ or ® symbols to our Marks
Important Reminder
Any use of our Marks that creates a new mark with its own distinct commercial impression or that could be confused with our Marks is strictly prohibited.
Enforcement & Compliance
We take the protection of our brand seriously and actively monitor the use of our Marks. Violations of these terms may result in enforcement actions.
Compliance Requirements
- • You must acknowledge our ownership of the Marks
- • You cannot interfere with our rights in the Marks
- • Goodwill from your use of our Marks belongs to us
- • You must comply with any updates to these terms
- • Upon termination, you must promptly stop all use of our Marks
