Fred is a native of Arizona, born and raised in Globe. He was a Manager for SRP,
our utility company and retired Aug 2018. He is retired Chief Master Sargent, US Air Force after 25 yrs of service. He is also a musician- playing drums for a local band.
Laura, originally from the Chicago area; North Suburb- Crystal Lake. She came to Arizona for College (ASU) and decided to stay after getting her Business Degree in 1978. She retired in 2021 from American Airlines after 33yrs as a Flight Attendant.
Fred and Laura met in the neighborhood & married in our back-yard. The reception was hosted by our neighbor Debbie that owned the vacation rental next door. We purchased Deb's house Dec 2016 and called it "Desert Orchid" since we lived on Orchid Ln in Chandler AZ. We have enjoyed our 7yrs of hosting families & friends visiting Arizona.
