La Mesa vacation rentals

My stay here was the best Air BnB has to offer. 5 stars is not enough to rate this home! I did not want to leave. Almost everything was perfect. If there was any issues, they were solved in minutes (or at least in an hour). Shane made me feel right at home. I have never met a nicer person. I am going to say it...I luv u! ...lol. Everything you need is provided. From snacks and coffee to carpet cleaning, everything was perfect! I could go on and on about my stay here, but that would take a whole day to type it out! If you are looking to stay ANYWHERE in San Diego county, STAY HERE! Wherever you need to be is just a short drive away. Freeway access to just about any direction you need to go. The trolley station is close by and can take you in every direction if you don't want to drive. Ask Shane about her fur babies! Miniature HUGGING donkeys and fainting goats! Thank you for being such an incredible host. Hopefully we will meet up again!

My husband and I needed a place to stay temporarily while our condo was being renovated. It was estimated to be a six week stay and we needed space for 2 home offices, 2 cars and a home away from home feeling. We found all that and more at Shane's Nest Adventure. Shane was a fantastic host. She was responsive, provided us with everything we needed and offered flexibility because of the uncertain nature of our timeline. The house was exactly as described and pictured. Because we're local she let us go over to look at it before we made our reservation since we were concerned about its functionality for a longer stay. The rooms have windows on multiple sides that let in a TON of natural light which is really important to us. The bed was so comfortable we decided to replace our mattress with the same one as part of our renovation. There are nearby restaurants and the Village of La Mesa with a terrific farmers market on Fridays. We are grateful to Shane for her incredible hospitality!

We stayed at Shane's place for one month to welcome our newborn in San Diego. If I could give more than five stars, I would. 1st, the house: it was cozy and it was perfect for our situation. A cute fenced-in yard within a larger corner lot with its own parking spot and built in a way that gave it privacy. The washer-dryer in the bedroom gave us immediate access to laundry for those sleepless nights of feedings. It had a working kitchenette. And the island doubled as a kitchen and office space - I made it work. Big TV with cable and all the streaming services (login to your own account). The neighborhood is quiet; the house is close to the freeway and central to shopping and San Diego sightseeing. 2nd, Shane: was super communicative, flexible, and welcoming in a way that made our anxious journey easier. We had a welcome basket of goodies. She bought us a vacuum. She left us a precious handmade baby gift! Above and beyond what I have experienced with AirBnB hosts. Thank you.
