Destin vacation rentals

Thank you Yavuz for a wonderful condo to stay in while our family was on vacation. The place came with many amenities that you just would not get staying in a hotel. The beds were super comfortable. The view is unbelievably beautiful. The kids loved having their own bathroom. Pelican Beach was overall a great place to stay with two pools, a hot tub, a cafe, many grills, a tiki bar and a private beach area. The condo is located near many fun things to do like the water park located directly across the street. The condo supplied two chairs and an umbrella for us to use on the beach, which kept us from having to spend money on rentals. There are beach toys for the little ones. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

We really enjoyed the beach, pool, and location of the condo. When we first arrived the floors were dirty and there was a lot of hair everywhere. However, Svetlana had someone there to clean the next morning and that was easily resolved. The only negative issue that couldn't be resolved is that there is no way to lock the condo from the inside. There is only a passcode door handle that controls the door latch. I felt uncomfortable with the fact that I just had to trust that the code to the door was secure. There is no way to lock the door at night while you sleep (no deadbolt or security chain/latch). I have never been to a apartment/condo/house/hotel that you couldn't lock yourself in at night while you slept. The area and condo seemed safe, but that still made me very uncomfortable. If Svetlana puts a security lock on the door I would definitely stay there again. I think the cleanliness issue was just odd circumstances and I wouldn't expect that to happen again.

The condo was very clean and bed was comfortable. Balcony view was perfect - 3rd floor facing the ocean! The large pool had plenty of seating and was shaded by the building in the afternoon- which was great for us! Jacuzzi was available as well. Cafe & tiki hut was well situated and had great food and drinks! Servers took orders from the pool and beach front areas. Condo had kitchen with everything we needed and 2 full bathrooms- and was very well furnished. It was located centrally, close to many activities and restaurants. Yavuz communicated the process very well throughout, we had no problems or needs. Thank you for a great stay!

Our family of four just spent one week in Destin at this condo. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The view from the condo is one of the best we've seen, and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. The layout was perfect for us with two children. They loved the bunk beds! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Walmart was just down the road so it was easy to stock up on food and essentials for the week. A couple months before our stay, I called and booked chair service to ensure we would get a good spot on the beach since we were going at a popular summer time. There are signs posted that no one is allowed to sit in front of the rental chairs with their own personal set-ups (unless they had kids they could sit for a limited amount of time). We paid over $150 for the rentals and they did give us front row as requested, but every day several people sat right in front of us in their personal chairs and there was absolutely no monitoring of this. The only benefit I can see of paying for the rentals is they have beach service where they bring you food/drinks etc, and I don't think they provide service people sitting in their own chairs. It wasn't a huge deal because we were in the water most of the time, but I mention it in case you're on the fence about the chair rental situation. Unless this changes and they start enforcing the rules (which they didn't one day out of six), I would save your money and just bring down the beach chairs left in the condo or buy your own. This obviously has nothing to do with the condo itself or the owner, just a little note about the beach service that the condo complex uses for the chair service. We loved every minute of this vacation and would highly recommend this condo. The owner, Kathy, is very professional and has done a great job decorating this home to make it very welcoming! We can't wait to come back!

Ok, I have traveled quite a bit and I am recommending this condo! My husband, three teenage boys, and I spent Spring Break in Destin. 1) The condo owner is GREAT and incredibly HELPFUL and COMMUNICATIVE! 2) Condo was clean and comfortable and aptly resourced. The pull out bed was comfortable (per my son). We have 5 so the 6 seater dining set afforded family games. The decor was beachy. Linens clean. Wifi worked. Washer and Dryer used every day. 3) The location of the condo is good. I have been in places where you wait 20 minutes to catch the elevator. Not here, quick elevator to the 16th floor - no problem. The TIKI hut on-site serves really great food (honestly, excellent pizza and other things) and great drinks. 4) the beach is well maintained. The chair rental company very nice and helpful. The chairs themselves are more chairs and not loungy per se. Practically impossible to lay on my stomach, but all in, really great. 5) Destin, AJs restaurant, Bochamps, Back Porch are a few great restaurants (driving distance but worth it). Pricy but worth it. Beach water was too cold and therefore Crab Island out of our plans. BUT, we've been in the summer and Crab Island is great. Enjoy!!

We had a great vacation in 1601. The views from the balcony were amazing sunrise to sunset! If we needed a break from the sun, the living room offered the same spectacular views through the large, open windows. The two bedrooms were very spacious with king sized beds and room to move, closets with extra pillows and bedding, and attached bathrooms. The bathrooms were both large and clean. The walk-in showers were great! The only con was the master bath faucet handle kept falling off, but minor inconvenience that I’m sure will be remedied. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed- pans, pots, glasses, silverware, coffee pot and keurig. Our children were old enough to handle the glassware, but a few plastic cups would have been nice for them or to take more comfortably out to the balcony. We utilized the two beach chairs, two bag chairs, and coolers available to us every day at the beach. It was such a convenience! The Pelican resort had some great amenities including two heated pools and two hot tubs. Both were very clean. The other pool looked nice, but we were there in the off season, so we didn’t use it. The walk to the beach is short and sweet. The water is breathtaking- very clear and shallow at that location. Overall, would highly recommend!

The property could not be any cleaner. Spotless! It was a great location. We liked the 19th floor as the sun coming up was great and the view of the beach and ocean was tremendous.It was pretty cool but we found many things to do to keep us busy as we celebrated Valentine's week. Only 1 hiccup: We were locked out of the unit and neither one of us had our phones where our code was documented. The front desk called maintenance and they were able to get us in. We wondered what would happen if we had come in late at night as we did not believe maintenace was on duty 24/7. The bed was super soft. We are used to a hard mattress and thought this was going to be a problem but it wasn't.The fire panel was out and there was a security company monitoring things. This was a little unnerving. Construction was going on so this must have been the reason the fire panel was disabled all week. Construction was annoying but not bad. The noise started around 8 a.m.

The condo was just as expected and more! Excellent view of the ocean. Loved the docking station on the night stand for phones and even my Apple Watch. There were I think 5 or 6 sets of bath towels between the two bathrooms which was very nice. A ample supply in the start up kit of toliet tissue, klennex, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods etc. The appliances and furniture were all newer and in great condition. Being able to set our own code to get in and out of the unit was very convenient. The host always communicated promptly. Our unit was ready a couple hours early which worked out perfectly for our arrival. The pelican beach was very enjoyable with 3 pools, right on the beach and we could walk to several restaurants. We will definitely be back.
