The Marejo (“Property”) is a privately owned, dog friendly home with prior Owner/Representative approval and a non-refundable $250.00 per doggie fee. Property has a maximum of Two (2) doggies per reserving Guest’s stay. Pet fee covers housekeeping’s additional time for cleaning and deodorizing. Pet fee does not cover carpet cleaning, pet waste clean-up and/or damage, if found.  

To obtain prior Owner approval, send the following information to: litchfieldbeachhouse@gmail.com 

Note: PET MUST BE HOUSEBROKEN prior to arrival, no exceptions. 

Form and non-refundable $250.00 fee required for each doggie, maximum of two (2) doggies per Guest stay

•	Rabies vaccine: Yes No (must be up-to-date)

•	Weight: _____  (not to exceed 50 lbs. without approval)

•	Age: _____  (must be at least two (2) years of age)

•	Spayed or Neutered: Yes No (required)

•	Flea and tick treatment: Yes No (no less than five days prior to arrival)

**If requested, documentation from accredited veterinarian to be provided to Owner/Representative**


Guest hereby agrees to comply with the following as it pertains to approved doggie:

•	Guest reserving Property solely liable for dog(s) for reservation duration. Owner/Representative assumes no responsibility for illness and/or injury that may incur to any pet and/or human during Guest’s reservation and/or at any time during stay.

•	Doggies must be leashed at all times when outside Property. Doggies are allowed leashed on beach during certain times/months. Visit Georgetown County, SC website for details.

•	Guest responsible for cleaning any/all doggie waste. NO doggie  waste allowed inside Property. NO un-house trained doggies. Additional fees will be charged for failing to clean doggie waste prior to your departure. New guests, housekeeping, landscaping, etc do not want to come in contact with your doggie’s waste.

•	No doggie may cause damage to premises or furnishings. No doggie allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence that housekeeping finds of doggie on furniture will incur extra fees, especially if damage to Property. 

•	Guest is responsible for preventing any excessive noise, especially doggies, at a level that disturbs neighbors. 

•	No doggie will be left unattended for an undue length of time on porches or underneath home, without adult supervision, to prevent damage to Property, such as soiling, chewing, etc. All this can be grounds for additional charges.

Once pet approval confirmed, it is hereby agreed by and between Owner/Representative and Guest 

that Guest may have the following described dog/canine and no other pets in the Property upon and subject to the terms and conditions of the Marejo Short-Term Rental Agreement and this Pet Policy and Addendum.

Returning requested information to Owner/Representative constitutes Guest acknowledgement of  Pet Addendum. Signature date will be as of receipt by Owner/Representative.
