Why We Created Our Holiday Let Nestled on the hillside beneath the iconic Riber Castle, overlooking the beautiful town of Matlock and the rolling Derbyshire Dales, we discovered somewhere that instantly felt special. Every sunrise over the valley, every peaceful evening watching the lights twinkle below, reminded us that this was more than just a place to stay—it was somewhere to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the beauty around us. We wanted to create a holiday home that offers others the opportunity to experience that same feeling. Rather than simply providing accommodation, our goal was to create a welcoming retreat where couples, families, and friends can make lasting memories while enjoying one of Derbyshire's most breathtaking locations.
