Old Rock Cafe is 6.4 miles from A Touch of Luxury Cabin near Lake Lure; the restaurant is located right outside of the Chimney Rock State Park entrance. After hiking to the top of Chimney Rock, reward yourself with a hearty sandwich or salad, along with a cold beer. Grab a seat outside on the deck to enjoy a great view of the Rocky Broad River. Old Rock Cafe is known for having excellent grass-fed burgers that come from local Hickory Nut Gap Farms. May through October you can purchase takeout breakfast biscuits before heading into the park, or you can eat them there. Check out their lunch menu.

Remote is in the bowl on the coffee table. Be sure everyone reads through this before turning on the tv. 1. Always aim the remote at the sensor to the left of the bookshelf when doing any function, including turning tv on and off. Just stand near the coffee table and it will work fine. What Should I Do When the Trash Is Full?
There are two bear proof trash cans at the end of your driveway. Feel free to use these during your stay if the kitchen trash compactor gets full. Otherwise, housekeeping will take care of emptying the trash compactor after you leave.
