Ingles Grocery Store Near Lake Lure and Mill Spring North Carolina
Ingles is a regional grocery chain in this area. Our local Lake Lure Ingles grocery store is only 1.5 miles from the cabin. In addition to groceries, Ingles has a Pharmacy, Gas Station, and Red Box to rent movies.
Note: Ingles grocery is the only major grocery store close to A Touch of Luxury Cabin. This Ingles grocery location has a great reputation for being clean, and for providing fresh produce and quality meats.
You should find just about everything you need for your stay. FYI for out of town guests from different states - our grocery stores do not sell liquor. Visit one of the local ABC stores for liquor.
Ingles grocery store has a Bakery, Deli, Floral Department, and large Soup/Salad Bar. Ingles grocery also has a nice selection of beer/wine.
TIP: The Salad Bar will begin to shut down sometime in the evening; there is no exact time. Just be sure to arrive early if the salad bar is part of your dinner plans. In the winter it might start shutting down between 6 - 7 p.m. Summer hours are longer.
If you're in a hurry and need to hit the road early morning, Ingles does have a very small "breakfast hot bar." Mostly it is just a hot plate or biscuit sandwich: bacon, sausage, eggs, and cheese. They have sausage gravy and biscuits, and sometimes have home fries or a breakfast casserole. Eat in the small cafeteria area, or take it to go.
TIP: The breakfast bar opens at 7 a.m. until it runs out. It could run out at 9 a.m., but no later than 10 a.m. This is why I only suggest it for early risers.
**** There is a Starbucks inside Ingles that opens at 6 a.m. There is no exact time it closes but it could be 8 p.m. in winter and 9 p.m. in summer ****
Deli Pizza & Subs: If visiting the Deli during lunch rush hours, the local workers will be lined up ordering their subs. The Deli will have a hot plate lunch meal optioh as well as subs and pizza. It opens around 11 a.m.
TIP: You can order pizza/subs and have them scheduled to be picked up later. Pizza is one size with as many toppings as you want for $12. Unfortunately, Ingles does not provide online menus for their subs and pizza.
