Dumpster

Shortly before you reach the cabin, you will see a dumpster on the left side of the road. This is the dumpster you will use if the trash compactor becomes very full during your stay.

Otherwise, we will take care of emptying the trash compactor after you leave. If the neighbor asks you anything, just tell them you are renting Carl's cabin. Our guests have permission to use it.

Never leave trash on the deck of the cabin unless I have arranged to have Carl pick it up outside. Feel free to contact me to have this arranged. We are more than happy to take off the trash if you prefer.

Bears can smell outdoor spills, food, etc. around the home and in your vehicle. Be sure to wipe up any spills, food, and keep the grill tidy. Do not leave empty soda cans and food wrappers in your car.

Neighborhood Dogs

Some of the neighbors have outside dogs, and their favorite past time is chasing cars. Please know the dogs are harmless. They can be quite timid sometimes. If a dog approaches you while at the dumpster, just tell it to go away, and it will.

It is best not to be friendly with any animal who may visit, as the animal will continue to come around wanting food. Do not feed or allow any stray cats, dogs, or other animls inside the cabin.
