Waiver of liability for use of the hot tub

The guests agree to use extreme caution and care in the hot tub on the premises and to pay any and all repair charges for damage to the hot tub and/or property caused by the guests. Guests further agree that everyone using a hot tub will shower and clean their feet upon the use of the hot tub.

Other things to note

A few notes to make sure this is the right place for you:

-> Please be advised that the Soothe Escapes is a mountain property. Although our mountain cabin can be reached with a two-wheel drive vehicle regularly, we highly recommend driving an all-wheel or four-wheel-drive vehicle in wet conditions. From November to March, we strongly advise driving a four-wheel-drive vehicle in snowy and wet conditions. While there are plenty of dry days during those months in Virginia, there is simply no way to predict this in advance. Please take this warning seriously, as our cabin is on a semi-gravel road and although the gravel part of the drive is short. We do not offer refunds for cancellations due to weather, so familiarize yourself with related expectations and prepare accordingly before you book.

-> Smoking is STRICTLY prohibited inside the property. All violations will incur a $500 fine.

Please note: Our home is supplied with well water, which is perfectly safe for drinking and all other uses. However, due to the natural minerals present, you may notice some staining on the tub and toilets. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the water's cleanliness or safety. We have a water filter installed as well. We ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our home.

Our house is on a steep hill and we recommend an all wheel drive
