Welcome to the Marine Graduate Families’ Home Away from Home — a warm, pet-friendly (with huge private back yard), Parks Passport, UPPER-level retreat minutes from downtown Beaufort, the marine bases, and the beautiful shores of Hunting Island and Sands Beach. Have a look through the cupboards to familiarize yourself with the contents of
the property. The property should be spotless with clean bedding on the beds
and clean towels in the cupboards. Bedding is changed out after every guest.
If there is anything not to your satisfaction, please inform me within the first
24-hours of arriving at the property. If there is anything you need, please do
not hesitate to contact me. Access code will be given the day before arrival.
Approximately 1 hour from Savannah, 2.5 hours from Charleston and 45
minutes from Hilton Head. So much to experience, so much to see. Beaufort
is growing and so is traffic. From the deck you will hear Sams Point Rd traffic
but inside you do not. For me it is white noise but just be aware.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully updated space, complete with sleek stainless steel appliances, thoughtfully designed to ensure a relaxing stay for up to six guests, with two cozy queen beds and a convenient pull-out couch.

The well-equipped kitchen invites you to channel your inner chef, complete with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals on your modern appliances. And with a washer and dryer right in the unit, you can pack light and make the most of your time exploring all that Beaufort has to offer.

But perhaps the real highlight of this rental is its proximity to both downtown attractions, the marine base and the stunning beaches of Hunting Island and Sands beach, Port Royal. Whether you're strolling along the historic streets of Beaufort, soaking up the sun on the sand, or exploring the natural beauty of the surrounding area, you'll find endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation just moments from your doorstep.

Back at the rental, a large, private and secure backyard provides the perfect space for your furry friends to stretch their legs with their own private staircase to access the backyard, while a private keyless entry ensures seamless access for all guests. And with thoughtful touches like freshly laundered linens for each visit, beach towels, chairs, and games provided, every detail has been considered to ensure a truly unforgettable stay. There is ample parking space for cars, boats and RV's.

To effortlessly illuminate your space, simply touch the bedside and living room lamps. For your convenience, the unit is equipped with a vacuum cleaner, iron, and ironing board.

Additionally, I've provided a weather alert radio for your safety, located and plugged in to charge on the side table in the living room. Kindly ensure it remains charged. In case of a power outage, it can serve as a flashlight, alarm, and can even charge cell phones. The user manual is available in the cabinet for your reference.

The shed has deck chairs for the beach and lounging in the back yard as well as cooler boxes, an umbrella and a couple of boogie boards.

If you're accompanied by a furry friend, please inform us in advance so that our cleaners can prepare accordingly for the next guest. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate puppies or kittens, however I do not discriminate on breed. I do like to ask what breed they are but that is for my knowledge regarding hair cleanup.

There are 4 flash lights for your convenience and so much more.
I am not 'hard and fast' on check in or check out times - really depends on whether I have back to back bookings - so if arriving earlier than 3 - ask. Want to leave later than 11 am - ask and I will try to accommodate.
