Tiglio Grillo - Camaiore

Set in the hills above the town of Camaiore, near Viareggio, this lovely apartment, in an attractive small development, is a great destination for families or friends.

The ground-floor apartment can sleep 4 people in style. It is beautifully decorated throughout. As the building is on a hillside, most of the rooms have absolutely stunning views out over the Tuscan landscape. The living area, dining room and open-plan kitchen are on the ground floor, with a door opening directly onto the garden and terrace. The interiors have been sensitively restored with high beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. There is a sofa with a flat-screen TV and a dining table for 4 people. The smart, open-plan kitchen is well equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge-freezer.

Outside there is a paved, private terrace, with wonderful views over the valley, an elegant wrought iron table and chairs, shaded by and large parasol. Here guests can dine al fresco.

Guests have access to a shared pool and a larger garden area. The pool has sun-loungers and parasols where guests can relax and enjoy the countryside.

Location
This apartment is ideally located to get the very best of Tuscany, close to the well-known beaches of the Ligurian coast, the Lido di Camaiore is 20 minutes away. The pretty town of Camaiore is just 10 minutes away by car. Here guests will find various food shops for groceries. The town’s weekly market takes place every Friday morning, for the best local ingredients.

Lucca, a treasure trove of Medieval and Renaissance architecture, is a 40-minute drive. Lucca’s massive Renaissance walls are not to be missed. You can hire a bicycle and ride around the ramparts. The central circular piazza is also worth a visit. It is one of Tuscany’s most beautiful destinations.

Pisa, with its famous Leaning Tower, is just 55 minutes away. The city has a daily market (except Sunday), the Mercato delle Vettovaglie, and Piazza Vettovaglie. Pisa also has a flea market on the second weekend of the month, in Piazza delle Cavaliere, it is a treasure trove full of hidden gems.

The closest international airport is Pisa, just 45 minutes from the apartment. Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of May 2024 to the 30th of September 2024 A damage deposit of 200EUR has to be paid locally.
