Unconventional, yes. Quirky, indeed. Relaxing and rejuvenating, you bet. Staying in a shed isn't most people's first thought when vacationing but why would you want to stay in a cement box next to other boxes? The juxtaposition of what we are offering is stark; some of the creature comforts of home counterbalanced with some fresh experiences that make traveling, traveling.
The Shed is a great basecamp for the independent traveler(s) looking for peace, relaxation, and a place to unwind.

While THE SHED is connected to the grid and affords some of the amenities of a standard hotel stay such as AC, WiFI and a TV, certain concessions that we make in order to live on such a beautiful piece of property as this:
a) Solar shower facility is available and depends largely on the weather conditions. It is outdoors, which means that THE SHOWER HEATS UP FROM THE SUN. You must be flexible as the sunshine and the weather dictate your ability to take a shower (we understand that it's not for everyone, but that is how we live out here OFF GRID.)
b) The shared bathroom requires a short 1-minute walk to an enclosed outdoor bathroom. In the Commons Area there is a shared kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, BBQ as well as WIFI, local info, games, and books.
The night sky is full of stars like you've never seen before. Bring your camera to this picturesque spot!
c) Being in the mountains, we share the space with beautifully (Hidden by Airbnb) mable animals such as deer, elk, and bears. All that said, bugs, flies, and the occasional mouse might drop by to say hello too. We do our ABSOLUTE BEST (fly tape, traps, poison, ancient Blackfoot Indian chants) to make sure you won't see them. However, If even the prospect of the sight or sound of the occasional bug or mouse puts a burr under your saddle, we kindly suggest that you book a chain hotel in the big city of Missoula.
Basically, this isn't a hotel experience and there is nothing glamourous about this camping, in this space and on this property you'll be reminded of the simplicity of life, the stillness of nature, and the pureness of your routine being dictated by the sun.
