Stella (yes, Stella!) is a 1904 hand-hewn log homestead cabin with slate floors, beautiful, beamed ceilings & with as many charming and modern luxurious details that we could think of

Close to Deadwood/Lead/Nemo/Rapid City UTV/Sno-Mo trails, mtn biking, hiking, skiing, golfing & many BH attractions

Stella has been beautifully renovated to include two king bedrooms, a kid's bunkroom, two full bathrooms, and a kitchen worthy of your culinary dreams.

We've also created relaxing indoor and outdoor spaces for you enjoy with plenty of room for everyone. Check out Stella's glamour shots, she's pretty proud of them?

* The property is perfectly situated for UTV riding with the USFS right outside the gate and the property is close to snow mobile trails also!

* If you enjoy hiking, biking, lakes, skiing and golfing these are also available nearby!

* A Weber gas grille is available for your use as is a propane fire pit with outdoor seating.

* A full kitchen is equipped with everything that we could think of including a 48" Viking gas range. Just bring your groceries ?

**During the summer season numerous restaurants are nearby to try if you don't want to cook but you may find it hard to leave!

* You may see and/or hear coyotes, elk, cattle, frogs, insects/bees and birds during your stay! We hope that you enjoy the wildlife nearby.

* Also on hand are yard games; corn hole, croquet, a portable badminton set and horseshoes for the time when you just want to hang out and enjoy the place. Enjoy the sunsets, they can be spectacular!

* Please read the "additional house rules" and confirm that you agree to them when requesting to book a stay at the Homestead. Stella will appreciate the extra care... :-)

We live and play in the Black Hills and hope that you enjoy everything that our beautiful area has to offer. We are available if needed and will provide you with our contact info prior to arrival. We have also provided our contact info at your vacation destination.

* Winter months (Oct-May approx.) an AWD/4X4 vehicle required. We can receive winter weather and/or snow with very little notice.

Beautiful multi acre property bordering USFS with Corral Creek flowing through. Very private with stunning views of Custer Peak, neighboring ranch and wildlife.

NOTE: Well maintained gravel roads to/from property (County and USFS).

During winter season an AWD or 4WD vehicle is required - weather can be unpredictable Oct. - May with snow and/or rain.

*Generous parking for your vehicle(s) and parking space for trailers carrying motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles.

* If bringing trailered items, let us know ahead of time for parking info at property.

*Snowmobiles need to be trailered to trailhead(s) per USFS.

*NO use of TOYS on the property itself allowed! The USFS/public land borders us and is easily accessible.

*We're sure you will be considerate of our neighbors when riding; they'll appreciate it :-)

Stella is within 30 - 45 minutes (often less) of pretty much every picturesque Black Hills town such as Rapid City, Hill City, Keystone, Custer, Sturgis, Hot Springs and even closer yet to Deadwood, Lead and Nemo.

Also, within just a few miles is the Centennial Trail, the Mickelson Trail, and numerous UTV trails. Easily enjoy day trips to Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Homestake Mine/Sanford Lab, Black Elk Peak, the Badlands, Wind Cave NP, Jewel Cave NP, Devils Tower and many, many fun tourist attractions.

Stella and the Black Hills are within driving distance to Devils Tower, Yellowstone Natl. Park, the Bighorns, the Wind River Range, and even within an easy day's drive to the Tetons, and Rocky Mtn. Natl. Park.
