Welcome to our fun and quirky vacation home at Edisto Island, South Carolina, your perfect coastal island destination any time of the year. Nestled approximately 45 miles south of Charleston and east of Walterboro, Edisto is one of South Carolina’s largest barrier islands. Enjoy a scenic drive along Historic Highway 174, which winds through moss-draped ancient oaks, unspoiled marshes, and rich agricultural lands.

Please Note: We beg you to please read the entire listing description before making any reservations, just to ensure it aligns with your expectations. Our house is a work in progress, it's not perfect by any means or the Ritz. We want everyone happy!

Like many vacation rentals in Edisto, we don't include linens, towels, or toiletries. However, if you don't want to bring your own linens and towels, don't sweat because there is a local company who offers a linen and towel package. You can find additional info about linen services further down the listing.

Sleeping Arrangements: Our home features three bedrooms and one sleeper sofa, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests.

Property Highlights:
- Location: Conveniently located, our home offers easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle.

- Outdoor Space: Relax on our large front deck equipped with patio furniture, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The house is nestled on a spacious one-acre lot.

- Beach Access: Just a 5-minute drive away, the nearest beach access is located by the state park, allowing for quick and convenient trips to the shore.

- Interior: With approximately 1000 sq. ft. of space, our home features an open floor plan encompassing the kitchen, living room, and dining area, providing ample room for relaxation and enjoyment.

- Living Room: Enjoy entertainment on the 75” smart TV with cable, high-speed free WiFi, and a DVD player. The pull-out sofa offers additional sleeping space with a full-size memory foam topper for extra comfort.

- Bedrooms: Each of the three bedrooms boasts new queen memory foam beds upgraded in May 2022. As mentioned above we do not provide any linens for the beds, including sheet sets or pillowcases. However, each bed includes a comforter, pillows, and blankets, with additional pillows available

- Kitchen: Fully equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, oven, toaster oven, blender, toaster, pots & pans, and all necessary cooking utensils. (No cooking condiments provided). Although it's not guaranteed, we do our best to provide some basic spices,oil and medium roast coffee. We have a 12 cup coffee maker, with filters provided.

- Laundry: Washer and dryer are available for guest use. We strive to provide laundry detergent, hand soap, and dishwashing liquid, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

- ID Submission: You must provide a picture of your government ID within 24 hours of booking to us directly. This is required by our insurance company. The ID is kept on file only for the duration of your stay and then deleted. You can send the ID via the Airbnb app, text, or email. If ID is not provided unfortunately the reservation will be cancelled as a house rule violation.

- Communication: After booking, we will reach out to confirm and complete the booking process. Please ensure your Airbnb app notifications or emails are turned on. Unresponsive reservations will be canceled.

Important Information:
- This is our vacation home, rent out to help cover taxes and insurance. While it may not have the latest furniture or most modern decor, it offers great value and proximity to the beach.

- Linen/Towel Information: Guests must bring their own toiletries, food, bath towels, washcloths, and bed linens. Alternatively, S&J Linen Services, a local company, offers a linen package for a reasonable fee (not included in the reservation cost). Due to the time and expense of laundering, we do not provide linens, which is reflected in our discounted rental rates. S&J's package options are shown on the last picture of the listing
