Easy access, paved roads. Lovely climb to the top of the mountain - you will be so thrilled to see the view! No 4-wheel drive needed during normal weather patterns. Flat driveway fits 4 cars. (Let us know if you think you have more than 4 and we can provide instructions for alternative parking)

Sunset Ridge chalet is nestled into the mountain top with beautiful views of the mountains at sunset from the back deck and feels very secluded even though it is part of a charming mountain neighborhood. It has been remodeled with chic designer touches with comfort and conversation in mind.

Adventurous folks will enjoy so many options: hiking, rafting, tubing, zip lining, biking and even skiing and snow tubing all around the area. There's also two beautiful lakes, Lake Rabun and Lake Burton very close by. Everyone in the area winds up at historic downtown Clayton where there is award winning, gourmet, farm to table dining and boutique and artisan shopping, live music and more. And we are less than 10 minutes from all of the best spots!

Folks that like to chill will enjoy the local wineries, easy scenic drives, great dining and spa options, and time relaxing at our well appointed home. Have our personal chef cook brunch or dinner and just take a load off!

*Let us know if you need wheelchair access and we can provide a wheelchair ramp. The primary bedroom has a walk-in shower that is easy access for those with limited mobility.

LOFT:
✔Walk upstairs to the loft with 2 comfortable queen beds. (Note: there is no closet but plenty of room for your suitcase and we do have hooks and furniture to store items plus a mirror.)

LOWER LEVEL:
✔2nd family room, game area. 75" TV, arcade, ping pong, games and movies.
✔Deck w/ pub height table and chairs, comfortable seating, rocking chairs, beautiful view
✔2 King bedrooms w/dresser, large closet, reading nook, TV
✔Bedroom w/3 twin beds, large closet, kid's table for legos or trains, book shelf, bean bag. Great for kids or singles! We can push two beds close together if you’d like to make one King.

OUTSIDE:
Firepit and comfortable adirondack chairs in garden courtyard setting
Grab a bundle of wood at the local Home Depot & enjoy an evening of conversation making s’more’s and relaxing! We do typically supply starter wood for you.

We have a single Nest Security Door Bell at the front entrance for safety but there are no security cameras inside or in any common/social areas. Your privacy is very important and we respect that. Please do not obstruct the doorbell.

About the neighborhood: Sunset Ridge is at the top of the mountain with amazing views. The neighbors are friendly, and each home is unique. We are nearby to a golf resort, restaurant, winery and spa.

Parking: 4 average cars. No on street parking next to the house. **Please contact us if you think you may have more than 4 vehicles for prior approval and instructions for off-site parking options.

Access is very good with all paved roads and in typical weather, 4WD is not needed. Drive carefully as roads are windy up the mountain. It can be a steep drive and there is no Wi-Fi until you get to the house and connect to the internet so we recommend screenshotting the directions before you enter the neighborhood. Please no surprise drive-by’s without permission.

Grocery stores, Walmart, restaurants, pharmacies, fast food, shops are all within 5-10 minutes from the house.

Fantastic restaurants and unique experiences await in Downtown Clayton less than 10 minutes away.

If you travel to Clayton from Atlanta, I recommend heading up 985. It turns into 23 and then merges with 441. It's this route that offers a TON of great sites, each one is either right on the highway or not too far from it.
